    Good day.
I would take Lenovo - the matrix has full hd resolution. In addition, 8GB of RAM is the minimum right now. The only minus is the lack of a CD / DVD drive.

Intel Core i5-6300HQ processor (4 cores, from 2.3 GHz to 3.2 GHz)
8 GB RAM, 275 GB SSD
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M graphics
    Matte matrix 15.6 "FullHD, IPS

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a user's dilemma between keeping an ASUS laptop (model R558UQ-XO313T) or switching to a Lenovo model due to concerns about display resolution and overall performance. The ASUS laptop features a 15.6" matte screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768, which the user finds unsatisfactory for creating and viewing media. Respondents recommend Lenovo for its Full HD resolution and better specifications, including a preference for models with at least 8GB of RAM and a more powerful processor, such as the Intel Core i5-6300HQ. Concerns about Lenovo's reliability and service in Germany are also raised, alongside a comparison of graphics performance between NVIDIA and Radeon cards. The user is advised to consider budget-friendly options and configurations that meet their needs for video editing and general use.
