Hello, I would like to buy a 50-inch TV for about PLN 1500, put it in the store and run ads, slides, etc., offers on it, and here's my question, do I know how I could do it? I thought about making slides and films, combine into 1 video file and give it to repeat and render an 8-hour movie and turn it on in the store every morning, but the minus of this solution is that with each change of the offer, I would have to change the whole again and render 8 gods a bit to it probably lasted. Another idea was to make a few files, but again I don't know if the TV will play files randomly and in a loop.

And here the question is whether anyone has had experience with this type of thing or has anyone any idea how to do it or found a ready tutorial in which everything is explained?

I have a Braun digital frame special for this type. It has many functions. It displays images, date movies and all that stuff.
TV set to display advertisements in the store for 8 hours a day.
Simple to set up. As for ads, you can make slides of individual articles or whatever else you offer, although it's better to put a simple movie in Windows Movie Maker on a memory card for a few seconds and display it in a loop or whatever you want.

The question is whether such a TV set or a frame have a loop option so that I do not have to re-render the entire 8-hour file with each change, only delete one movie and replace it with another

Such a frame does, as it is intended for this purpose. Some also have TVs, but the TV will consume more electricity than such a frame. With longer use, it can generate considerable costs.

A few days ago, I was asked to look for something similar. I started with advertising monitors etc. However, the priority was the price, so I kept looking. I found a program PictorPlayer http://www.pictorplayer.pl/ which can control "ordinary" TV or monitor and display a lot of information. At the top of the given page, there is a tab download the program. You can test. See how many options he has. Of course, in order to display these ads or other messages, you need a computer and a large TV screen. In my case, the computer is already there, I think you have too, it is enough to buy a large TV and a program.

Hi everyone, referring to the topic, something that is referred to in the topic is called Digital Signage, there are many companies offering such implementations monitors, handles + soft http://vitra-pro.pl . Signage monitors their big advantage is working time, two types: 16/7 and 24/7.
Monitors have advantages ranging from touch controls to embedded content display systems.
The costs are higher than a classic TV set, only the TV set will work for six months, a year or two, but it will burn out, in the worst case it will burn out.
On the other hand, advertising monitors are unlikely to burn out, and interestingly, they have extended warranties of up to 5 years at no additional cost.
Android players + software that can be managed from anywhere are often used for content management.
Of course, with a larger number of monitors, you can use computer solutions with a card, e.g. AMD FIREPRO with 4x DP, but new monitors have the ability to identify them by ID and connect them through a splitter or in series.
An additional advantage of signage monitors is that hanging it vertically does not result in the matrix spillage, which usually happens on TV.
There are many advantages on the side of advertising monitors, there are a lot of options, auto start turns on at 8 am, turns off at 4:00. Image rotation vertical horizontal. Displaying the image simultaneously from 2 sources, e.g. our player with advertisements and normal TV next to it. etc. one could write a lot about the advantages.
There is no need to save when buying a TV for PLN 1500, you will have to buy another one soon, because the old one will be damaged, you will have more costs and so on. It is better to buy a professional monitor for ads, they often have built-in players for displaying advertising content.
You can buy without a player, buy something external + soft to manage remote advertising content.

PS. This is not an advertisement for the store. Link I added due to the fact that they have a good description of monitors, there are also other companies dealing with digital signage.
If anyone needs any help, I invite you to Priv, I will always advise you and help you when it comes to signage soft, etc.

I'll dig up the topic a bit.

I actually represent the company that deals with such monitors.

We work on LG monitors. ... and what distinguishes us from the competition is: we have access to the LG software and create applications directly on the monitor (without an external player / TVBOX on Android).
In fact, we create the application as the client wishes.

If anyone is interested in the topic, please send me a private message.
I am happy to answer your questions.

Greetings,
TK

for the future, a monitor is for this purpose, not a tv, of course not a computer monitor but a special one for such purposes. Cheaper and better.

I use a nice SUMPY Digital Signage system, I connected their player to my two TVs (Samsung and Kruger Matz) and I don't have to fly with any USB, generate some movies, all via the Internet.
