Hello, I would like to mount a television in my small store, which would serve to display ads and here my question - how best to do it?
I was thinking about editing a few movies, putting them on a pendrive and starting a loop, but I don't know if there is such an option, if someone knows how to do it, I will be happy to hear opinions or links to ways to do it. :) And if someone recommends a TV that is suitable for this, I will also gladly use the suggestions.

I hope someone will tell you because I don't want to look now. In any case, the TV is not used for this purpose ... just I do not know what it is called in Polish. It is used to display advertisements, signs, etc. It differs in that there is no manufacturer's logo, usually it has more brightness, generally better parameters than many TVs and a lower price. It also has a more solid construction.

I think it comes with graphic LED boards with very extensive graphics.

On Samsung TV (in what I have), you can loop but separately in one file; so you need to assemble an advertising clip from several ads as one file.

With many .... TV, you can use Raspberry Pi >> HDMI> TV and from the central computer is sent via LAN which everyone has to play. This is how one of the large retail chains operated.

it will be cheaper to buy a TV, unless you have money for a professional monitor ;)

This is not about LED boards.
It's about the LCD panel that differs from the TV in what I wrote earlier. It is used for these purposes. At the airport, in a shopping center, etc., you won't see TV sets, just such panels. I myself have one that I bought for pennies (used of course) to display diagrams. Usually it has only 1 HDMI input but it has different communication interfaces built in.

Well, this is the company I recommend above. They provide such advertising panels (stops, airports, stations, kiosks and the like).

I will add that after checking, the TV can also repeat not only one file but also a catalog with many movies.

Could you provide a TV model I would appreciate :) ai was this option standard or do you need to install or buy any additional applications? And how do you think most newer Samsung TVs will have this option?

He won't have to without the antenna installation, because such a TV can't do without it.

Advertising panels are closer to PC monitors than to television sets Gentlemen.

It probably doesn't matter at all, because you pay tribute for the "possibility" of receiving the signal and not just for receiving it. If I'm wrong please correct me.
In addition, e.g. in hypermarkets, material on screens is usually displayed on a cable TV network.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the best practices for mounting a television in a retail environment for ad display purposes. Users suggest that while standard TVs can be used, dedicated advertising monitors are preferable due to their enhanced brightness, durability, and lack of manufacturer logos. Loop playback can be achieved on many TVs, including Samsung models, by combining multiple ads into a single file. Some users recommend using devices like Raspberry Pi for more complex setups. Specific models mentioned include the Samsung DB32D and Samsung MD46C, with a suggestion to consider professional advertising panels for optimal performance.
