Hello everyone. About a month ago I bought a car with an engine as in the subject and I can not deal with the problem that has arisen from the very beginning. When the car stops the night and I start it in the morning (cold engine), it immediately after starting starts to go out sometimes, but when it starts and from suction it turns to normal rotation, they jump so hard that the telepieces with the whole car (from about 680 to 860 revs) / min). This happens mainly at idle and partly when driving on a cold engine. Sometimes, just after firing, it happens that when it tries to enter the suction it keeps about 680 rpm and the Check Engine burns. Only when I add some gas and let go is the lamp goes out and the suction is constant 1100 rpm. The car on a cold engine during acceleration has a slight decrease in power, but when it warms up in my opinion it accelerates very well and the symptoms of jumping idle are practically imperceptible.
The car has a mileage of 154 thousand km. After purchasing, I replaced the entire timing, coils, candles, filters, oils and removed a minor leak on the radiator hoses. Despite these efforts, the problem persisted. I decided to find someone who has VCDS and after connecting I got an error with the following content that appeared in the engine electronics:
"Intake manifold flap - Air flow control - None / Incorrect basic adjustment"
The mechanic said it was enough to clean the collector. I did so too but unfortunately the problem remained. So he told me to buy a spare collector for replacement so that he could check if it was the collector's fault, but I thanked him for such diagnostics. So I went to another diagnostician who had the original VCDS. The error showed the same but this one told me that the flaps can be set from the computer. When he tried to do it he said that the flaps open and close completely but they cannot be adapted due to an error. So he started checking the car further and worried about the very large discrepancy in ignition parameters. I will not say now how professionally this parameter was called, but it ranged from -2.5 to 17.1. He then tried to connect to the car's computer to do the throttle adaptation (which, by the way, was cleaned when replacing the timing gear and everything else), but his equipment could not communicate with the car. The diagnostician stated that the fan speed control may depend on the lack of basic throttle and manifold flap settings, and the lack of communication with the computer may be probably due to a damaged camshaft sensor. He tried to explain to me that such a malfunction is a mechanical malfunction, which no computer will show, and which may be the reason for the inability to set the throttle and the manifold flaps and the wrong ignition operation.
I do not know cars, so I ask you for your opinion on this topic, because I would not want to charge money for replacing the working part with the working one. Perhaps the diagnostician is not mistaken but I would like to know your opinion and opinions on this subject. Thank you in advance for any help.
