Hello, I have such a question, what could be the reason for uneven engine operation for a few seconds after starting a cold engine?
On a warm engine the problem gives way to the candles I replaced but it did not help. The car was connected to a computer and it turned out that pump injection bumps are quite high 84,95,89,99 block 13 and 18 is ok. I am asking for advice.

If you have such a high, maybe the pump seals or the pumps themselves for replacement or regeneration, a worn camshaft quite likely.
Check the timing setting and check if the camshaft synchro in group 4 last window should be around 0 +/- 3

And to start with, replace the filter, it can also be something with a vacuum pump

fuel dose corrections are good, this is block 13 and here is the problem with block 23, i.e. the solenoid valve opening time the norm is + -30 and for me as I wrote above ..

I will add that under the power of nothing accelerated good combustion in the standard of 6-7 liters

I forgot to add that all filters have just been replaced and of course oil

In that case, replace the fuel filter first
It turns out that they are already worn out and may have worn off, maybe try pouring some magical fuel into the fuel to clean the injection system.

I have replaced the fuel filter. Can there be gaskets on the pumps worn and these will be the symptoms ??

I would suggest replacing the pump o-rings and checking the camshaft right away.
drop the cover and look at the roller and take out the injection plugs and plug in again and check the beam maybe something will help.

Check the timing setting and if you have access to the interface check also the timing cam synchronization

I checked block 4 this way: AUDI A4 1.9 TDI 100HP uneven engine operation after firing on a cold engine

in the latter it fluctuates to 4.4 if such a norm is still acceptable or should it be corrected somehow ??? Possibly how to do it ??? I ask for advice

Synchronization is out of the norm the manufacturer recommends around 0, and how to do it you will find on the internet after entering the synchronization camshaft 1.9 tdi

Not necessarily, but it's worth setting it up as it should, so you can exclude it if you have any idea, you'll set the angle in 20 minutes if you have an interface

The problem seems to be solved. The reason was incorrect camshaft synchronization was 3.9 to 4.4 I adjusted to 0.0 and now it fires nicely. Thanks for the advice.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the issue of uneven engine operation in an Audi A4 1.9 TDI 100HP after starting a cold engine. The user reports that the problem persists for a few seconds post-start, despite replacing glow plugs and fuel filters. Diagnostic checks indicate high injection pump values, prompting suggestions to inspect and potentially replace pump seals, camshaft synchronization, and to check the timing settings. The user later confirms that adjusting the camshaft synchronization from 3.9 to 0.0 resolved the issue, leading to improved engine performance.
