    Hi,

I would like to make a NAS where the main assumptions are

    - energy efficiency
    - the ability to download files, e.g. torrent / mega, etc.
    - DLNA with subtitles or HDMI player -> TV Full HD
    - File backup, e.g. by connecting a mobile to WiFi - automatic photo backup, etc.
    - at the beginning one disk, then maybe RAID to be safe

    Extra

    - control from the outside (from outside the house) - e.g. I want to download something, log in, set up, come back home, the file is already on the disk
    - (option) - maybe some Domoticz - something z-wave / zigbee, although I am thinking about the solution proposed by Xiaomi
    - internet radio?

The performance would be such that, for example, files were downloaded in the background, DLNA would stream up to two Full HD TVs at the same time, plus some buffer for other operations that I do not know about yet.

I thought to use the Banana Pi in some stronger version with 2GB Ram, or a Dell FX160 terminal. There is probably a problem with the disk housing for Banana.

I think I would use the OMV - the question is whether Banana can do it, is it possible, for example, to use Domoticz with the OMV, or is it excluded?

Possibly, some advice / experience with such equipment is appreciated.

    Thanks

I can offer you a terminal for HP, it currently works as a vpn server, due to lack of time I have not put up other things yet. I'm in the process of configuring the cloud. All on Linux. It takes about 20W.

HP T610 Thinclien or something newer Hp T620
If you want, I can sell you one t610.

HP T610 more info in the picture - it works as a disk server - watching, recording from a sat-lan decoder. File transfer at 50 - 60 Mbit / s via lan 1 Gbit / s.
