Hello. I have quite a strange failure in Peugeot for about 2 weeks:

so yes: the central locking with the remote control stopped working (by clicking to automatically open the car it does not work and the information on the MODE ECONOMY ACVTIVE display turns on) and I turn the key to open the door and open it, then the battery turns on and lights ...

I start the car battery indicator disappears ... but there are 3 beeps and the information ECONOMY MODE ACTIVE or BRAKING FAULT pops up again ... I start the car and everything is ok the battery indicator disappears ...

I finish driving off the car and: they are illuminated: car mileage ... clock time date temperature and battery indicator ... and they light up for about 40 minutes ... and only go out ... and of course you can't close the car with the remote control I have to turn the key then the car closes but the lights above are still on ... and expire after about 40min plus or minus ...

and of course, as the central closes the car opens with the remote control, of course, the lights flash and now the lights when closing the key do not flash.

I mean mainly why these lights do not go out while extinguishing the vehicle clock time date temperature and battery indicator ... and why the central locking with the remote control does not work ... and when I click economy economy mode active ...

anyone had such a problem ?? is this a BSM or BSI problem ???

I bet on BSM. (you can change it yourself because you can't fight without equipment, start with bsm faster and cheaper) Because the fuses are obviously checked?

    yes fuses checked ...
    how to just swap it?

I think I need to load everything again if I buy the same bsm ...
    hm ????

because bsi and bsm probably have to work together?

and how to buy good use here .. not to dig in ... because the new bsm is probably the price of space ???

Swap bsm with another, the cost of a new one don't ask better. Stimulants are from PLN 15 so you don't risk much money. Complete the profile, maybe someone from the area will help.

in this problem with this bfm there is nowhere to buy: BFM B4 9650663980 ind E DELPHI

there are two on the internet but no one can guarantee that they are good.

and the best thing was that I called the service for this part and price .. it's 710 PLN ... but they said it was not bfm but bsi ... and it is best to come and have them check ...

and now I got stupid ... on the website they said it is impossible to spend 710 PLN on the part that may not be this ... and that they suggest that bsi ...

electrician says buy bfm ... and on Peugeot website that we will check, but these symptoms are bsi ... and what now / ??

thanks buddy for the links. but as I said the electrician said that BSM fault ... and when I called the Peugeot website to ask about the new BFM they said the price, and by the way they asked why BFM would tell me the symptoms I have ... and ... it turned out that it's not BFM and BSI (that they can order this part for me but I will spend the money in vain) ... they think it's BSI and I made an appointment on the site ... because it is difficult to buy bfm on the net and pay electrician for replacement, and it turns out that it is not then and then replace it then and it will continue ...

I thought that someone had such symptoms hence my question .. I was about to order the bfm drug ... but after talking on the website I became stupid ...

AT THE SAME BEGINNING I WAS SYMPTOMS ... so I don't know if bfm or bsi ... you can buy with a drug and someone won't say whether it works or not ... I will buy it with errors and I will have to buy others again ...

but thanks for these links :) I was looking for, I found 3 others ... but everyone said they don't know if it's good or not ...

    and bsi I couldn't find ...

anyway .. I'm curious about what these symptoms are

Added after 7 [hours] 31 [minutes]:

TODAY BEGIN things have already begun ... that is, I turned off the car and the battery indicator began to flash, the display with the time temperature and date and lights above the driver and from the back of the trunk and the central one began to work once not with the remote control ... and the worst thing was that I turned off the car and I closed the car and every moment the lights in the middle of the car turn on ... positive temperature came today and ooo stranger things are starting to happen than what I wrote at the very beginning ...

WHAT CAUSES FAILURE ????? BSI or BFM ???? IS BSM? BECAUSE I MIGHT LOSE IN THESE MODULAR NAMES ... HELP SOMEONE ????

I don't know where these names came from.
    BSI is in the cabin.
BSM under the hood, Chad is also called PSF1 because it is described in the diagrams.
BSI manages the cabin lighting and central locking.
BSM controls, for example, high beam and low beam bulbs.
It may be that there is a lack of mass or power somewhere or it is green and hence these problems.
You will go to the site and as BSI mentions you, a thousand will not be enough.
Ask them if they will exchange BSI and it turns out that it wasn't a problem here, will BSI take it and you won't pay?
The service lists BSI, then BSM and finally they will look for the cause and the customer will pay for everything.
You have to start with diagnostics and not replace it.

that's why I'm asking if it's bsi or bsm symptoms ?? today my friend from electrode advised me to check bsm ... replace with another one and check what will happen ...

    he is right !!!

but it would be nice to know if these reasons are from bsm, i.e. from the module near the battery ... or bsi of what is inside the car ...

and in the service I asked about the price of a new bsm 710 PLN ... and they said that it makes no sense to order a new one immediately ... because according to them it is not bsm fault but bsi ... so if they wanted to sell the part and not advise them to sell it let the customer get tired and then order the next part ... when the cold was these were the symptoms from the first question ... and today it was different when the thaw came ... so I mainly meant whether it was BSM or BSI ???? ?

Hello col, when it was freezing cold these were the symptoms from the first question ... and today they were different when the thaw came ... so I mainly meant whether it was BSM or BSI ????? here, rather, you have a hooking point, somewhere in the engine compartment something does not connect the wheel of the gra well, I suggest you in the last piece of advice connect it first to the diagnoscope only dedicated to the peugeot pp planet, checking it is not a fortune and maybe you will avoid as you wrote, maybe this ,,, and further costs

ANI BSM or BSI as electricians said ... after brainwashing replace it replace that ... I got a bsi bsm module from a friend from peugeot hdi ... and the symptoms did not disappear ... the friend got upset ... because they were still the same symptoms (thankfully I didn't have to pay for these modules) I borrowed :) ... he stripped the plastic under the steering wheel ... he took out all the harnesses ... and oh ... he found one harness that did not match the installation .... it was new and it was striking ... I have been driving a Peugeot for 2 years ... So this bundle didn't concern me because I didn't do anything at the car :) ... and the beam led us from the bsi to the end of the car under the rear lamps and under the bumper ... TO THE HOOK MODULE !!!!! yes gentlemen ... THE HOOK MODULE FALLED ... hence the Christmas trees and ECONOMY MODE ACTIVE errors and as I wrote at the very beginning ... he was mainly interested in one information "BRAKING FAULT" IN MY MODEL NO BRAKE SENSORS ... so he knew that something with electrics .. disconnected the hook ie the bundle of cables that went from bsi to the hook box "module" and the rear lights and after the fault ... I know why I often burned the rear lamps .. well from this bundle to the hook because it was connected under the rear lamps. SO THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WRITTEN ON THE BEGINNING IS NOT BSM or BSI but the "HOOK MODULE" ... best regards
