I warmly welcome! Well, I would have such a small question, how is it possible to send a short video in the form of MMS from Android to a smartphone without losing quality? I have a Samsung s6, wanting to send a few seconds long video, a message appears that the file must be clipped and after sending the quality of the video is very uninteresting. I tried to do something with Video Coppress but nothing like that. Greetings.

Check in the MMS settings if you can turn off the size limit.

What model of the phone gives this possibility?

And what smartphone does the recipient have?
The easiest way to install an application on both WhatsApp, Viber or Skype style smartphones and then you can upload a video even a few minutes.
Personally, I sent up to 15 minutes, and I do not even know if there are any limits.
Sending videos via MMS is not a good idea ;-)

It's not a device issue but applications, standard have limitations on the size of sent files but a few times I met that it was possible to disable it, unfortunately I'm not able to say in what applications it was and whether it used packet data or Wi-Fi.

Apparently, the chompsms application should give an installment such a thing, but there is also the question of whether the operator has no upper limits on the message.

The maximum size of mms is usually 300kb and no application will help here. The videos are easiest to send through any instant messengers.

The standard maximum size of MMS is 300 KB, once it was 100 KB
There are programs like eg Raiisak`s that double the size of MMS https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2284485&postcount=12
but I know from experience that the operator will lock up such an MMS anyway so I have long abandoned the fun with MMS in favor of the WhatsApp application

Huge thanks to everyone for the answers. Well, as I mentioned before, I have a Samsung Galaxy s6 and no possibility to set the size of MMS. For now, I was sending myself short videos to see how it looks. So today is not possible, so you recommend WhatsApp. Greetings.

I recommend WhatsApp because I use it every day. It is a very good communicator, not only with the help of which you can send videos, but also pictures, sound messages, you can call, for example, abroad for free on the Internet, etc.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the challenges of sending high-quality MMS videos from a Samsung Galaxy S6 to other smartphones. Users highlight the limitations of MMS, particularly the standard size cap of 300 KB, which often necessitates video clipping and results in poor quality. Suggestions include checking MMS settings for size limits, using alternative messaging applications like WhatsApp, Viber, or Skype, which allow for larger file transfers without quality loss. Some users mention specific applications like ChompSMS that may help, but emphasize that carrier restrictions often negate these solutions. Ultimately, the consensus favors using instant messaging apps for sending videos over MMS due to inherent limitations.
