Hello, I am looking for advice on under-cabinet hoods. I am planning a renovation and looking for an under cabinet cabinet, mainly because I do not have much space in the kitchen - I live in a block of flats, and as you can guess, every space is at a premium. So I'm looking for some hood, preferably one up to 60 cm wide. Do you have any proven brands that don't make masks best, but rather specialize in hoods? I will be grateful for advice.

It all depends on your budget. The second thing is write if the hood is to be extended, recessed into the end of the cabinet or typically screwed under the cabinet ....
Very good hoods are produced by, for example: Elica (I have island), Faber, Falmec.
Write what amount you have, do you cook a lot, what type of hob and how many cm will the hood hang from (furniture do you already have?) And will it be connected to the chimney.

I have the same problem or which cabinet hood to buy. I knew the internet there are Falmec, Elica hoods but these hoods cost over PLN 2,000 and they don't do crazy but the carpenter says they are fairly ok. Personally I would prefer something cheaper around PLN 1000 and that it would be best made of glass would be easier to maintain and the efficiency would be as minimal 600m3 / h. Someone may have something to recommend? Any Chinese or other trash.

Unfortunately, but if the hood is to have very good parameters and design, for 1000 PLN it will be hard to find a compromise.

From my own experience I can recommend if you do not want to overpay:
KERNAU KBH 07602 X - about 450 inexpensive and quite quiet for the price - it is quite enough with normal cooking.
LOFETTI 60.1 INOX EKO MAX - about 750 - decent price / quality ratio.

    Here's a more expensive proposal:
    FRANKE FBI 537XS LED - around 1700
    Elica Hidden 52 - around 1700

Well, this Elica seems cool to me, but probably not my budget. After thinking about it, I decided that I didn't want to spend more than PLN 900-1000. I am now thinking about the option typically built-in, e.g. a telescopic hood. I am able to give up the look in favor of quality of action. After all, it will not take up much space for me, or at least it will work as it should. I am thinking about one of the cheaper ones you wrote to me and the NORTBERG Amadis Black hood.
Comparing the parameters, I see that they are very similar. However, I am still thinking about this type of telescopic and I still have doubts, and I have to make a purchase soon, because renovation is already in progress

I think I join the thread a little late, but I have a similar problem. Unfortunately, my hood must not only absorb unpleasant odors (because I only have a kitchenette), and also perfectly illuminate the entire zone. I care about the hood, which I can attach under the cabinet and not lead to the chimney.

A friend has a hood from Groenje fume or something and she is very happy with it. I myself am not very delighted with its visual side (but it is not the visual side that is to be liked, but the functionality). However, my wife and I invested in the NORTBERG hood, which we just liked for visual and practical reasons. I admit that we wanted to modernize our kitchen very much, which is why the hood has a touch screen display on a glass plate. And most importantly for me - the price was very good. That's why I recommend this company myself.
However, I have a small problem with finding the right specifics to clean the hood. I will add that the hood is made of tempered glass.

Rather with a display, it will not be a cabinet cabinet.

And how? Did you find the right hood?

I found. I thought for a long time, but I think I chose the best - Amadis Inox from Nortberg - https://nortberg.pl/o,265,amadis-inox.html. The hood came quite quickly and I can honestly say that I was afraid that it would not be nice or would not fulfill its function. So far (knock) everything works ok and I'm happy. Also, thank you very much for your help and advice. I think you can close the topic.

A colleague writes, I live in a block of flats. In some housing associations, it is forbidden to install kitchen hoods connected to a ventilation chimney. You can only mount kitchen hoods based on a carbon insert. If you mount the hood for ventilation when starting the fan and in bad weather conditions, you inflate the neighbor living above all content from your kitchen. Every half year, there is a draft check in the ventilation duct in the apartments by an external company which, after disclosing the mounted hood to the ventilation duct, issues an order to close the hood within a specified time and notifies the housing cooperative. If the block is 4 storeys, on the fourth floor, if you live, you turn a blind eye .

Let me raise the thread a little because I'm looking for an opinion on the Electrolux hood with the Hob2Hood option, anyone uses and knows how such an hood integrated with an induction hob works?

I have something like this, great thing, one thing to watch is off, i.e. the hood, it turns on automatically when it detects cooking, adjusts the power of the hood and also sets the lighting. I like such novelties and in this case I think that it is not only cool but practical.

kierbedz4 , in blocks of large panels, ventilation ducts are separate for each apartment. This applies to the kitchen, bathroom and toilet.

I wonder what the power of such a hood is with an open kitchen. Is this so important that it is able to prevent the spread of odors? And since it works automatically, you can turn it on or off manually also without a problem?
