Hello ... Opel Astra J (4), 2013, SPORTS TOURER (combi) ... after firing, I automatically heat the rear window + side mirrors. The heating is turned on without the information that the LED next to the heating button is turned on, and it works for a few minutes each time it is started. In the computer menu, there is an option to automatically defrost the glass, but the option is disabled. Anyway, when this option is turned on, it is information about turning on in the form of a diode on the rear window heating switch ... so it's not like that .... Does anyone have ideas why he starts to heat the glass? ... normal firing procedure to load the engine .... but why does it engage after firing the engine? ... Please help ...

I have encountered something like that in some invention before (unfortunately I don't remember what it was).
Most likely, it is about limiting the charging current of the battery in order to protect it.

Only the heating is activated here, so not really. What temperatures does he see on the climatronic and the meter?

Now I noticed that you wrote about the problem with the temperature outside. This is probably the answer to heating.

A good lead :) ... I checked now ... it's ok ... the problem is no longer present ... So the problem was in the wrong setting in the Op-Com options ... go to> Body> Instrument Cluster> Outside Temperature Display ... It was enough to select (Present) .... the temperature display on the display is back (it was not there before), and the rear glass has stopped heating each time after firing ..... I think the topic will be useful ... somewhere someone had the same problem ... will be the outside temperature sensor. damaged, the heating of the glass and mirrors will also be crazy ... we close the topic ... thank you all.
