Hello. The engine buzzes and only starts when I turn the rotor by hand. I replaced the capacitor with an identical one but unfortunately it did not change anything. I put pictures below and I am asking for help.

Measure the winding resistances with an ohmmeter, give results and change the capacitor to new or used.

Hello. What is this pump? Hydrophore or immersion? What kind of engine power? Does the shaft rotate easily or with load? By default, which capacitor was mounted, how many uF?

You can see in photographs, what, Pataphim? @vixaelekto Measurement of the insulation resistance value necessary! due to the type of pump motor - immersion. Measurement of winding resistance is also indispensable.

Do not insult Mr.Patafiana My oversight is that it is a submersible pump. I'm not sure about the proper connection of the start capacitor. Give a close-up view of the connections of these cables.

Hello.
