Hello, I need a washer for work, i.e. removing the old paint coating on the roof, washing the roofs, washing the facade. The washer will work for several hours a day. Which washer should I choose to meet my requirements, what operating pressure do I need to remove paint? What cost? whether to make a washer yourself, because here I saw on the forum that someone made one. Best regards.

A colleague did not write whether it should be electric or combustion.

They know, maybe they don't have time.
So I'll scratch something from my own experience.
Once Karcher was good, but this is ancient times. Bosch is also a swan song, both are suitable for home.
Kranzle fairly correct, but expensive repairs because usually the entire pump needs to be replaced. The website has repeatedly offered to buy a new one after quite intensive use.
The only permanent wash for me is the Nilfisk. You have to look for, and it's best to contact a representative and let him choose the model. It's nothing small for the garage.

Buddy - to remove paint from the roof, to clean it for painting, it is a minimum of 350 bar and 15 liters of flow, ultimately 500 bar and 21 liters of minimum flow. 700 bar is a job and 1000 bar is a pulp. A flow of 20-30 liters does the job. A matter of budget, because with the increase in pressure, the costs increase tremendously. At these pressures, only petrol washers on trailers with a water buffer tank. Costs from 50,000 to 300,000 PLN.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around selecting a high-pressure washer suitable for removing old paint from roofs and facades, with a focus on electric models. Key considerations include the required operating pressure, which should be a minimum of 350 bar and ideally up to 700 bar for effective paint removal. Flow rates of 15 to 30 liters per minute are also recommended. Brands mentioned include Karcher, Bosch, Kranzle, and Nilfisk, with Nilfisk being highlighted as a reliable choice. The cost of high-pressure washers varies significantly, especially for higher pressures, with prices ranging from 50,000 to 300,000 PLN for petrol washers on trailers.
