I need similar help too. I, in turn, intend to buy something cheaper without heating. For a price of up to PLN 250, you can buy a branded Karcher or other less known company (Budget, PERFORMANCE, etc.). One thing puzzles me: Karcher washers weigh only 4 kg. However, these other companies are also small in size and weigh over 10 kg. It can therefore be assumed that Karcher washers have a plastic pump, and the rest have a metal or aluminum pump (as the sellers of PERFORMANCE washers assure).
I am asking you on behalf of myself and my colleague cola_Go for help in choosing and advice from people who know such devices from the inside.

Since nobody else wants, I will answer the previous post myself.
Today I bought a Perfomance washcloth at Castorama. It is one of the cheaper washers. Practice has shown that I expected too much from this device. Such assurances that washing boils down to: applying active foam, waiting a few minutes and rinsing - these are fairy tales, after such a treatment our car is still dirty. Practice has shown that first you need to pre-wash the car with a washcloth, then traditionally water with shampoo and a sponge or brush - we drive the whole car and finally rinse it with a washcloth. What are the benefits of the washer?
    - we will use less water,
    - we will rinse more thoroughly
    - a washcloth is good for cleaning rubber pavements
    - the washer goes to the wheel arches and partially to the chassis, removing the mud and salt from there after the winter.
In my opinion, buying additional accessories (brushes, foamers, etc.) is just an unnecessary expense.
Please pay attention to the hose when buying. With the washer I bought, the hose is very stiff and has no articulation, which makes it difficult to wash.

    Maybe the high-end ones can do more ... - I don't know.

Hello. If any of you is at the stage of buying a washer, let him look only for one that has a metal pump. I burned myself a few years ago on a cheap purchase of the Karcher 210 washer. During the warranty it got spilled and it turned out that the pump broke / it was plastic / after the warranty, the same defect again, they wanted 250 PLN for repair, I bought an incomplete use on Allegro, after the same year again and at the moment I'm not going to resuscitate her again. Look for a metal pump and a rotary lance, it is very effective. A friend bought a Pegasus washer and unfortunately such a lance is not included in the set and there is a problem with washing dirtier things

Well, it's nice, only on the Karcher website in the specification nowhere does it say what material the pump is made of.

Maybe someone write me what models are aluminum and plastic pumps in Kalich.

I'm going to buy a model from the 2 series, but what ??

We have a Karcher 205, it is used from time to time and it is really enough for us, it has pressure like hell, the car washes beautifully without any means, etc .. only you have to watch out for stickers and various decorations such as stripes on decks, etc .. because it tears , the same with weak putties under the varnish, it can chip off, the engine washes very well, you only have to pour engine cleaner first, also the upholstery washes great, I used to "wash" the armchairs and lining the floor with a suzuki vitar, the washing vacuum cleaner could not do it remove the dirt, then remove it with a carcher :) , a real revelation, the pressure is really huge, the water consumption is also high, also if there were such things that are pulled from the barrel, this water in this barrel would end quickly.

I am writing the second time, because the first was mentioned somewhere. Well, I wanted to ask, how did any of you deal with the LAVOR Superwash 160 washer? Encouragingly. The only question is how it is in the laundry. I am also curious about the service and possibly additional accessories. I will be grateful for your opinion.

so far only for testing :) works in a power tools store :) This washer, for its power, washes well, it has a long hose and a rotary lance :) of course, the washcloth is good, strong when you put your toe to stumble it hurts :) but the washer itself will not wash the carts without active foam or before washing with a sponge, but to rinse just right :) tests soon http://allegro.pl/item191614755_myjka_cisotykowa_einhell_hr_160_bar_2000_w_gw_2l.html

I own a black & decker pw 1400 k. I must say that it is very good for such money. A moderately dirty car is handled perfectly + good active foam. As you know, there are many applications - washing the pavement, cobblestones, moss on the foundation. I recommend pw 1400k for home use. PS. has an aluminum pump

MODEL WASHER, ACCESSORIES FOR IT, TYPE OF CHEMISTRY USED, DEGREE OF POLLUTION, ETC. IN ONE WORD IM EVERYTHING {EXCEPT DIRT} THIS EFFECT IS BETTER.

Hello, I have a problem - the Karcher HDS 895 S washer is poor pressure despite the replacement of seals. What can be the problem?

Hello friend. Washers collecting water from open tanks can be found in the hydromex.pl store. The cheapest of these washers is the Joker:
    http://hydromex.pl/sklep/myjki/bez_podgrzał_wody/Joker

All washers larger than the Joker can also draw water from open tanks.

Unfortunately, these devices are not cheap, but this is compensated by their reliability. As matias333 mentioned before, the pump is very important. All of these washers have metal pumps.

Karcher brand washers can also draw water from tanks.
There is no whip, if the water level is lower than the device, about 2m, it will be a problem with suction of water, you need to use a supply hose that will not flatten / collapse inside under the influence of vacuum, if you put the dragon in silt, sand, reeds, the bottom is also the device will not last long.

Devices with centrifugal pumps have no problem with "dirty" water. But they do not give much pressure (above 20 bar), but have a high pumping cost.

Due to their construction, piston pumps - valves, seals, o-rings, require "clean" water, free from any mechanical impurities that could damage pump elements ...

The right dragon, water hose with non-return valve and Karcherek can do it too.
Anyway, as I see the devices you gave in the link, they are also devices with piston pumps

Hello. I want to join the group of washers. Gentlemen and ladies, there is no point in saying that for PLN 200/300 we will buy a washcloth for life. I'm on this topic, so I know what I'm talking about. Washers, be it a karcher or another company, for the amount of PLN 200/300, you can buy and wash a bike or car. If we wash occasionally, it will be enough for a maximum of 2 to 3 years. As I know the topic, in the third year, the pump will fall or the water will run on the housing and we can already look for a new purchase. The cost of repair is simply not in line with the price. As you can see, please do not get excited with the goods of other brands than karcher (I do not offer karcher, of course, only a comparison), as we read hehe 150bar, 180bar, composite or aluminum pump. Dear colleagues (I do not give the brand because that's not what it is about) in the washer, which the seller promotes 150bar, after checking it, it gave only 103bars, well, 47 bars were lost somewhere, but how nice it sounds in the description "150bar". As for aluminum pumps, let someone check it for the aluminum content in the pump. It drops somewhere around 30%, the rest are additional ingredients. Simply if it were to be pure aluminum it would be unprofitable production costs. Knowing the life in every commodity, be it a brand name or other brand, from plastic to nut, everything is taken from slanted eyes, only the name of the company is native. Do not pay attention to the beautiful descriptions on the alegro. The fact that there is a 2.3-year warranty is not that I will take into account. It is subject to such reservations that he will almost never be on your side, just as someone wrote before. In the washer where he fell, unfortunately it states that it is not covered by the warranty. The cost of a new one is 2/3 of the entire washer. There are many more such things. If someone wants a washer for occasional use, you can buy it, but you have to prepare that after 2/3 years it will be replaced with a new one, if you want a specific washer but for home needs, the cost is somewhere in the range of PLN 1000, which I think is unprofitable, unless someone He has too much money and he wants to wash the car himself. To finish the whole thing, I think that everyone should think carefully, then let him answer the question whether if he was a manufacturer of washers, or in the border of PLN 200, he would be able to produce a decent washer. I think that it is able to produce thanks to cheap labor in China, then the trademark of our washer, encouraging a description with increased (which in some cases considerably) parameters and it's great, only that it is far from a decent product. greetings
