Recently, the spinning nozzle has stopped giving a spinning jet. At first I thought that something got into her and it should be blown with air from two sides. It worked, but for a short time. The pump interrupted operation periodically with this nozzle, the periods of interruptions were short, but after resuming work the stream did not spin. I bought a new spinning nozzle. I put it on and for over three hours it gave a swirling stream though it seemed like weaker. After three hours of work, after another insertion (I replaced it periodically with a vario nozzle to rinse / sweep away the dirt from the washed stone) again the same problem. It doesn't spin, it only gives one stream and the pump stops. Strange, new nozzle, could I buy a faulty or maybe some problem with the pressure pump. I have some sand in the water I see, which can be seen on the annually cleaned wash basin filters. Could this be the reason he could get into the pump? Or maybe it 'blocks' the right flow of water and there is no proper pressure? And this may be the reason for incorrect operation of the rotating nozzle?

    Hello,
And the filter on the supply (suction port) is installed? If not, everything could get into the nozzle.

The most common reason for a nozzle to malfunction is a scale that builds up inside it.
Immerse the old nozzle in vinegar for about half an hour and try again and gently clean the nozzle outlet.

Thanks to the great old nozzle I immersed, wait and see. Only that the new nozzle could not scale after three hours of operation. I also cleaned the water inlet filter, it was clogged - maybe it will help. I'll check tomorrow

Thank you very much for help. The new lance / nozzle works without a problem. Probably, after "unblocking" the filter is already the right pressure and water flow.
I started the old one (as per Russian instructions). The parts are simply made, the ball has fallen too low and a gasket has formed on which the semicircular tip of the nozzle rests and does not twist but locks in one position. I will buy a repair kit (if available) and replace it. If I do not get it, I will deal with "washers" made of hard plastic.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a malfunctioning rotating nozzle for a Karcher pressure washer, specifically the Karcher 7.400 model. The user reports that the nozzle has stopped producing a spinning jet, leading to intermittent pump operation. Initial troubleshooting included cleaning the nozzle and checking the water inlet filter, which was found to be clogged. Suggestions from other users included soaking the nozzle in vinegar to remove scale buildup and inspecting the nozzle for damage. After cleaning the filter, the user found that the new nozzle worked properly, indicating that the issue was likely related to water flow and pressure. The user also identified a problem with the old nozzle's ball mechanism and plans to purchase a repair kit.
