    Is there a workaround, should the phone be returned to the Play network where it was purchased ?.

    I uploaded the official Samsung firmware. Everything ok until I tried to login during the first launch to Google. I mistaken my username (I entered old account details). I currently know the name and password, but after entering it informs me that the password has been changed blah blah blah and I have to wait 24 hours. I waited and nothing.

    You can do the trick on Samsung service as long as you have a set of documents.

    Phone bought on Friday, I have everything set. We do not have Samsung GSM service, only shipping.
    I was able to enter the google account manager, settings and basically all phone functions.

    The rest of the last post from point 8 done, but in "Google Account Manager" I have signed under the file error and there you need to enter the username and password.
