What speaker? What kind of USB socket is not working? Where are the photos? What to do? If you are "green" do nothing yourself. There are some topics on Elektroda regarding USB replacement ... Just look for it.

I understand that we are talking about USB - type A. There is nothing else but to unscrew the "speaker" and check if the socket / PCB connections are not damaged. Of course, start by replacing the cable with another (functional) one.

The discussion revolves around a portable speaker (KBQ705) with a malfunctioning USB input, while other functions like radio, memory card, and micro USB remain operational. The user initially seeks advice on troubleshooting the USB issue. Responses suggest checking the USB type (likely type A), replacing the USB cable, and inspecting the internal connections for damage. The user confirms that the USB flash drive does not work, and upon further investigation, finds a desoldered leg on a component (U4) on the PCB. Voltage measurements indicate 5V at the USB pins, suggesting that the issue may be related to the damaged component.
