Hello, please help me in choosing. First of all, I want to choose the right diagonal for such a distance (or maybe it's better not to stick to the wall and put a meter in front of the sofa somewhere on the table?) And low input lag (TV primarily for playing on PS4).

    1. How big is the room in which the TV is to be located? 15m ^ 2
    2. How far are we from the TV screen? 4.8m
    3. How many people sit in front of the TV? 2
    4. Are we sitting in front of the screen or also sideways to the screen? mostly straight ahead
    5. Should the TV stand or should it hang? I wanted to hang it, but it might as well stand
    6. How does the sun shine in the room? longitudinal windows the wall with an angle to the TV, good blinds
    7. What kind of TV do you currently have? lack
    8. What do we want the TV to have? no difference
    9. What signal will be connected to the TV? maybe NC +
    10. What devices? PS4
    11. How many hours a day should the TV work? about 6h
    12. Does it happen that you watch only one program for several hours? match approx. 2 hours
    13. What kind of programs do you watch the most? matches, movies
    14. Are you going to surf the internet? no
    15. Are you going to play games - if so, how many% a day? yes, 30-50%
    16. Brand Preference? lack
    17. Size preferences? lack
    18. What annoys you in TV sets? lack
    19. Do you watch more in the evenings or during the day? in the evenings
    20. To what maximum amount do you plan to purchase? 3000 PLN
    21. How often do you replace televisions at home? very rarely
    22. Do you use internet applications often? rarely

At nearly 5m, the absolute kinimum is 65 inches. However, you won't see the details of the picture anyway.
PLN 3,000 is not enough money for a 65 inch TV. There is a shortage of 1.5k PLN for the cheapest, sensible models.

In your wake I only think of a 60-inch Samsung 60J6240 - look for the input lag, because I don't remember.
It costs less than PLN 3,000.

It's true, and in the case of playing these 5m distances and few inches will disturb even more - poor visibility of the in-game subtitles, interface, details (e.g. all kinds of collectibles).

So far, have you played with 5m or are you switching from the desk monitor to the TV? Because it cannot be denied that up to these 5m distances it is really a minimum of 65 "as nothing would be needed.

So far, only a desk, a living room in a new apartment has such a layout that I have either a wall 4.8m away from the sofa or on a table right in front of the sofa, so a total of 32 "would probably pass the exam. I will test this Samsung again, thanks for help.

I had a similar dilemma, although the distance was closer, about 4 meters.
I bought a Samsung 60J6240 last Thursday for less than PLN 3100 at Media Markt + PLN 360 Plus warranty (worth it).
I have not observed Input lag, although you need to turn off the boosters and calibrate the image for games, and since I play relatively dynamic games, I can recommend this TV.
Image of a razor from a distance of 3-4 meters :) everything flashes nice and pleasant.

    Of course it's better!

For your distance, 114 inches for 1080p and 228 inches for 4K are recommended.

These are not just fingerprints! They are real, it takes the average eye to see ALL the details. As you can see the values are proportional, that is 2 times smaller distance 2 times less inches.

So check EXPERIMENTALLY (on your monitor and maybe a larger TV). For example, for me the optimal was 90 cm for a 24 inch monitor (otherwise I had a problem with fast reading of 1080p letters), for the average eye it is 101 cm. And this is confirmed on larger screens: for 32 inches SD TV I watch from 2.5 m, and I play from 1.5 m (sometimes 1.2 m), and 42 inches was too much to see the screen. So 60 inches by 4.8 meters will do for SD (and often 720p), I doubt you would be able to read the letters (e.g. in a Hitman game).

55 inches with ambilight - it will be cheaper and the image will be visually larger :)

I decided to borrow from my friend 32 "and check it on a table 1.5-2 m from the couch and then I will decide if one or a larger one is enough. By the way - what do you think about the Samsung E32J5200?

After all, it is 32 or 55 inches, because the difference is considerable :D

Life has verified :D Earlier entries in this post confirmed my belief that even 60 "may not be enough, so I decided to put the TV in a different place.
