    Hello!

I would like to know what the integrated circuit is. Unfortunately, I can't take photos at the moment but it seems to be in the housing SOT-89 (or twin). It works in an LED lamp with a PIR sensor. Personally, I suspect that this is a voltage regulator and a "driver" of LEDs.

Below I put a preview drawing of the system (I also drew the manufacturer's logo, but I don't remember what the manufacturer is):

I would be very grateful for any suggestions and help. Regards.

The full designation of this voltage regulator is ME6203A, and the company that produces this series is MICRONE.

Letter A = no '' CE '', i.e. no certificate for the European Union. In addition, there are digits in the second row, which probably specify the voltage and current values, but it is difficult to decipher by illustrative list of the manufacturer. The voltage spread is considerable, but all models have low current efficiency.

I invite my colleague to other topics, such current ones. ;)

Note that the problem is 3.5 years old. Probably out of date for a long time and you are presenting your analysis here.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around identifying an integrated circuit (IC) labeled as 6203A, housed in a SOT-89 package, used in an LED lamp with a PIR sensor. The initial assumption was that the IC functions as a voltage regulator and LED driver. A user provided a link to a Torex voltage regulator, but another participant pointed out that the markings did not match and suggested that the IC is likely from MICRONE, specifically the ME6203A model. Additional details about the IC's designation and its lack of CE certification were also discussed, indicating variations in voltage and current specifications across different models.
