    Good morning,
I have a similar question about Eken H9R. I bought my daughter a webcam, but we can't fire. "No card" info appears.
I can't find anywhere on the internet what memory card do I need to buy?

By the way, I didn't think he was buying a webcam that you can't use right away, it's without a card. Is this normal practice?

    Thank you for Link.
I admit that in matters of knowledge of the subject I am an absolute layman scrubbing along the bottom.

Before I bought this webcam, I read a few reviews, I watched a few so-called "unboxing" and nowhere I came across the phrase "we buy one or that memory card". I understand that it is absolutely obvious to everyone (except me?) That you should buy a memory card for such equipment to work?

When choosing a memory card, remember to choose a card with the appropriate parameters, see my link, Video recording, in which important parameters of the card that it should have for proper functioning of the camera are described.

I have exactly the same webcam.
    I'm using Sandisk microSDXC 64GB Ultra Class10.

By the way - I don't know how it is now, but there was a lot of nice firmware on the Russian forum - they recorded at 120fps 720p or 4K at 25fps. A subject to compile ;)

And, however, I do not know where I got this sandpit. Maybe it's a matter of writing in the middle of the night :)
    The card is gray-black ADATA 64GB U1, exactly MicroSDXC ADATA Premier 64GB Class 10 Class U1 AUSDX64GUICL10-RA1.

I have it for about two years, maybe three (I don't remember). I have secured 120 fps at 720p :P

I do not process. At the beginning I had a teaser and even had a plugin for Adobe AE ... but I abandoned the topic and never used slowmotion. So I just have material at 120 fps.

    Added after 2 [minutes]:

And are you sure that this 4K is interpolation to 4K, not real 3840 * 2160 px? However, it seems to me that this is really material without interpolation ...

Topic summary

✨ The Eken H9 sports camera is reported to support memory cards up to 32GB, with some users successfully utilizing 64GB cards, specifically the SanDisk Extreme C10 U3. Users emphasize the importance of selecting a memory card with appropriate write speeds for optimal performance, particularly for Full HD recording at 60fps. Various brands and models of memory cards, including SanDisk, Kingston, Goodram, and ADATA, were discussed, with recommendations for Class 10 or higher specifications. Some users also mentioned firmware updates that could enhance recording capabilities, such as achieving 120fps at 720p or 4K at lower frame rates.

FAQ

TL;DR: Eken H9/H9R officially supports 32GB cards, and some 64GB cards work; 720p at 120 fps is available. “This camera supports memory cards up to 32 GB… some 64 GB cards… possible.” [Elektroda, nomudrek, post #16882072]

Why it matters: This FAQ helps owners pick a microSD that reliably records Full HD 60 fps without errors.

Quick Facts

Will a 64GB SanDisk Extreme C10 U3 work for Full HD 60 fps on Eken H9?

Officially, the H9 supports up to 32 GB microSD. Some 64 GB cards are reported to work. Choose fast cards for 1080p60. Test before critical shoots. [Elektroda, nomudrek, post #16882072]

Which microSD cards have users confirmed working in H9/H9R?

One user reports the ADATA Premier 64 GB microSDXC U1 (AUSDX64GUICL10-RA1) works. This is a microSDXC, UHS-I U1, Class 10 model. [Elektroda, spinex, post #17846242]

My Eken H9R shows “No card.” What does it mean and how do I fix it?

The camera needs a microSD inserted to start recording. The alert appears with no card or an incompatible card. Insert a supported card and try again. [Elektroda, Molineux, post #17610906]

Do Eken H9/H9R cameras come with a memory card in the box?

No. Buyers report the camera ships without a card. You must purchase a compatible microSD separately to use video features. [Elektroda, Molineux, post #17612407]

What speed class should I choose for 1080p60 recording?

Pick cards with strong sustained write speed. A “Class 10” label alone can be insufficient for stable recording. Favor U1/U3 models. [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17810497]

How do I set up a new microSD card in the H9/H9R?

  1. Insert the microSD into the camera while powered off.
  2. Power on and open the menu.
  3. Use the Format option to prepare the card for recording. “Format in-camera for best results.” [Elektroda, jever 23, post #17611178]

Can the Eken H9/H9R record 720p at 120 fps?

Yes. A user confirms capturing 120 fps at 720p. This mode benefits from faster cards to reduce dropped frames. [Elektroda, spinex, post #17859793]

Is the Eken H9/H9R 4K mode real 4K or interpolated?

A user notes the 4K mode is scaled, not native. Treat it as interpolated 4K for expectations and storage planning. [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17851220]

Are there firmware mods that change frame rates or add modes?

Users mentioned community firmware offering 720p120 and 4K25 options. Evaluate risks before flashing any unofficial firmware. [Elektroda, spinex, post #17844894]

What brands did users discuss for H9/H9R cards?

Users referenced Kingston React V30 and Goodram M3AA as options under consideration. Match capacity and speed to your needs. [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17845013]

Why does card choice matter beyond the Class label?

Sustained write speed dictates whether video saves without stutter. As one user said, “real write speeds matter.” [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17810497]

Any tips if a 64 GB card is not recognized?

Try formatting in-camera, then test short clips. If issues persist, use a 32 GB card, the officially supported size. [Elektroda, nomudrek, post #16882072]
