And so I am taking on the timing belt replacement not only the belt, tensioner, water pump and roller, the truth is that I never exchanged the timing but in the life of everything is worth trying I do not want to give the mechanic a job because not enough that I will not learn anything I will learn to spend money on mechanics, this is not about money and experience in life, so suggestions from your side "give it to the mechanic keep for yourself" I would like to describe how I would exchange the timing and I would like to judge whether I am going to do my job well I decided to write in step by step points, and so to work.
1. Removing the bumper and fender
2. Raising the side of the vehicle on the timing side to a height of 70 cm because I have such a beam, of course I will lift with a hydraulic jack, the beam will only keep the car at this height
3.installation of the timing cover
4. Left camshaft locking with 8mm screw
5. Marking with the marker of the right camshaft between the sprocket and the housing
6. Releasing the tensioner and removing the timing belt
7. Removal of the water pump and installation of a new water pump
8. Removal of the roller and tensioner and assembly of the new tensioner and roller
9.Mounting the new timing belt
10. Fastening the belt with a tensioner
11.Check if everything was tight
I know as much as I read on the internet and as we all know each reptile something else may not necessarily be different but everyone has their own theory regarding this exchange
