    Respect,

What oil-fired electric radiator (or other?) For a room of about 20 m2 (+ how do you open the door to 8 m2 of the adjacent kitchen)? Antique log house, low room, wooden walls (no heat accumulation). What power should this radiator look for? Better radiators to hang or on wheels?

It's for an older person, so it's important that this radiator is also economical. Gas stoves fall off.

    Thanks! :)

The radiator must have a power of min. 3kW if the kitchen is to be heated. The room should be enough 2.5kW but it depends on how the ceiling and walls are isolated. Maybe something like this link

Not enough data. For example, in the case of electric heating, every radiator is just as "economical". They all have 100% efficiency and the only differences are the feeling of thermal comfort. In the case of the G11 24-hour tariff, heating will be extremely expensive, and without information about heat demand it is impossible to determine the power. If you are looking for something economical then infrared panels but I don't know how an older person will react to their specificity. First read, e.g. here, and then think about whether it is worth going in this direction.

If someone agrees to the restrictions associated with this method of heating, you can count on 20% savings compared to other electric ones (e.g. oil). Max. 20% with the same thermal comfort, 50% and other putty pressed by sellers can be put between cartoons.

    Thank you for the advice.

Finally, we bought a 1kW / 2kW panel radiator (can be selected with a button), 86 cm wide, thermostat. This model is reportedly low-temp. heating element with a heat sink, not an ordinary comb on top, which does not heat the front panel very well, and the heating element is probably lower. The heater heats nicely, warm in the room, maintenance-free and most importantly a much safer solution compared to a gas heater. Of course, the counter is also spinning - there is nothing for free.

If there are no questions, I will close the topic tomorrow.
