A good laptop and PLN 1,000 are not synonyms. I do not understand this requirement. When I live, I haven't seen a laptop with a Polish keyboard.

There is something like post-leasing computers whose prices start from PLN 450 in the case of laptops. The choice, however, is huge and I set up this topic to exchange views on the quality of individual devices between users of laptops that meet my requirements. As for the keyboard, it doesn't have a purely Polish layout, but a QWERTY one. There are also other unwanted ones, e.g. QWERTZ, AZERTY, etc.

For me, the x230 is a completely nice laptop, or a slightly larger T430 (14 "). The machines are well-made (as opposed to today's plastic goods from the market). There is a good chance that such an post-leasing laptop will survive many of the cheap bought" cheap "laptops.

For PLN 1000, I would be looking for equipment equipped with an SSD drive (or looking for up to PLN 700 and equipped the SSD by myself). It greatly improves the comfort of work on such a device.

This type of laptop will be suitable for everything except games. Of course, the simpler integrated Intel HD will bear, but even in CS: GO I would not be ready for a revelation.

Dell Latitude E6430 (comparable to the T430, although I like the T430 more - but it's a matter of taste). These Delle are also decently made.

I did a little research and the more expensive offers have AZERTY or German layout. Only the cheaper ones with 4GB RAM and i5 3320m have UK or US. They are sold by the "Computer Partner" store. I heard that cooling is not good on this i7 thinkpad and the CPU reaches 90 ° C.

Most of these laptops are imported from the west, those that have a QWERTY keyboard often have it stuck with stickers.

As for cooling, the T420 is doing well with the I5-2520M, in the T430 I did not look at the temperatures (although I also had the version with the I5). Like any laptop, these are not devices designed for long-term operation at full load. This is an office device.
