    Hello!
I am trying to buy a laptop, use it internet - youtube, cda, sometimes kids will play some mini games.
I hesitate between these two processors.
Laptops with i3 6gen there are very few items to choose from (what's strange, I did not find any asus, only in lenovo), it is worth packing in the 6th generation and paying extra PLN 200 or choosing an older generation? the difference in performance between them is a bit.
I can not find too much information about how it works and wonder why there are so few laptops with cpu i3-6100U.

In my opinion, it is worth and I do not even have to think too much:
The processor is faster by 25%, the integrated graphics card by nearly 30%. Show exactly what are the laptop models.

i3-6100U is faster as extra payment is not a big deal. For how much do you buy this laptop?

I am looking for something in the amounts 2tys-2.4 thousand.
i3-6100U (or i3-5005U), 8GB ram, additional graphics nvidia in case if I want to mafie 2 to fire, simsy, or some other OLD titles, 1TB HDD or 240GB SSD, but I think SSD will fall, because I can not get on I will add the SSD at most in the future.
I guess you convinced me on this 6gen, I had in hands i3-5005U, I tested, but when youtube fullHD 60fps is used in the area of 65-70% also a little faster will be useful.

Why is nothing for the 6th generation in these amounts? how is it with lenovo and service in case of any failure?

Also, take into account that one has a DDR4 frame and the other has DDR3.
Nothing better at this price than the laptop proposed by the author of the thread we will not come up with rather.

But he has everything but no dedicated graphics card and so the games will be on average (not worth it).

Without a dedicated one, I did not even look at it, so it may not have bailed out for me. I am not a player, the laptop will be 90% used for browsing the internet (sometimes it will be hacked under 32 'fullhd TV), but some older production probably will also include even the worst geforce will come in handy for sims, mafia 2 or older call from duty.

I know about it, the one with the 6th generation i3 has ddr4. It's also a plus, always faster memory.

I will also take on i3-6100U, you convinced me.
Subject until I close, maybe someone will want to write something.

I know it will be faster, at the beginning I wanted SSD, I'm working quite differently on it, but after thinking about it, I decided that I would not get tired. Unless it is possible to take out the dvd without a GUARANTEE, insert a hdd (it can not be done?). In addition, they sit there sandisc ultra II, which, as I read, some people mention every 2-4 months because they are falling apart.

That's a pretty good look, and i5 is very efficient.

I will buy after Christmas, I also have some time to look around well.

I was probably thinking about this model:
    https://www.x-kom.pl/p/332968-notebook-laptop...0-15-i5-6200u-8gb-1tb-win10-gf920mx-sreb.html
One thing I do not have rooms, it has a built-in battery, how does it work and if then the battery has a 24 month warranty? I did not expect it simply. The laptop will only be used at home.
As I am looking at Asus with the same parameters, they want PLN 300 more and also have a built-in one.
Do today's almost all laptops have built-in batteries? a year or two years ago advising friends about some equipment I did not meet with something like that.

Please forgive me, but I will express my opinion ...
    Why this model ???
In this laptop the matrix is not of the best quality - it is, among others, shiny ... HD resolution (1366 x 768) ...
After all, it's a screen - we look at the matrix when using a laptop and this matrix should be of high quality - matte and Full HD (1920 x 1080) ...
    Not the latest i5 6200U processor ...
    A low-performance dedicated GT920MX graphics card,
lower quality integrated Intel HD 520 cards,
No backlit keyboard and aluminum housing ...
A bad choice for this money - 2529, -zł ...

Acer laptop (and laptops presented by me above) exceeds the parameters much, much better than the Lenovo laptop chosen by a friend ...

    ACER Aspire F5-573G:
Screen with a 15.6 "diagonal with a Full HD LED mat matrix (1920 x 1080),
The latest processor of the seventh generation 2-core Intel Core i5 7200U (2.5 ... 3.1 GHz)
Dedicated graphics card GF940MX (2 GB own memory) - with this card you can play new games less demanding at low settings, and even on medium ...

The laptop proposed by you is a bit more efficient, but I'm still bothering to ask me if I need 4GB of RAM, and I do not want to invest immediately (I would not invest in the end). I will say that the decision is not straightforward, because with this budget you can not go crazy (and it is already exceeded).

4 GB of RAM is actually not much but, as I noticed when working on one of the laptops (with different applications) with such amount of RAM with a dual-core processor (with newer ones) and Windows 10 use about 50 ... 55% of this memory, and when browsing the internet (watching movies, online games, etc.) we use up to 70% of RAM ...
Maybe someone has different observations, but it follows that this 4 GB is enough for a problem-free use of such a laptop.
For sure, 8 GB of RAM would be such a better optimal option ...
As for the laptops that were compared here - Acer laptop and Lenovo laptop, of course, Acer laptop "... it's a little bit more efficient ..." even in terms of the i5 7200U processor and dedicated GF940MX graphics card, but I still paid attention to the Acer matrix, which has a higher resolution (1920 x 1080) and is primarily matte, and the difference in image quality between Acer matrix and Lenovo glossy matrix with a smaller resolution (1366 x 768) will be clearly noticeable.
Both Acer and Lenovo matrices are TN - similar angles and larger difference in brightness matrices are missing, although the average luminance of the Acer matrix is 219 cd / m?, and the average luminance of the Lenovo matrix is 198 cd / m?.
The next thing I noticed is the backlit keyboard in the Acer laptop and its aluminum housing, where there are no such facilities in the Lenovo laptop.
Illuminated keyboard makes working on such a laptop in a poorly lit room, or even dark room becomes more comfortable and possible (dark room) compared to a non-illuminated keyboard.
The aluminum casing during the transfer protects the laptop, the matrix from damage during impact and even from damage during falling ... I experienced all these things with a laptop in a plastic housing and in a laptop in an aluminum casing, I have a comparison ...
And finally, the price of both Acer and Lenovo laptops ...
The difference in price between laptops is PLN 70, or Acer laptop is more expensive by PLN 70, - than Lenovo laptop.
Looking at it practically and bearing in mind the price, matte matrix resolution, processor performance, graphics card performance, backlit keyboard, aluminum housing, I would have bought Acer laptop without hesitation ... and probably that much.

In the end, I took this model, but I managed to buy it PLN 100 cheaper than it is at the moment, that is for PLN 2179.

Efficiency is enough, everything works quickly, and the nvidia 940MX does quite well. On the plus matte matrix, un-soldered frame in the motherboard, m.2 connector on SSD, usb type C
Games like Mafia 2, the sims 4, Alan Wake work on max details. The GTA V runs smoothly on medium.
    I close the subject.
