Hello, some time ago I got a dishwasher (model in the subject).

She had the hydrostat replaced because she poured mistakes. A few washes were ok, and then she started pouring a mistake i20 , after reading the forum, I decided to undress it and unblock it. It turned out that the channel connecting the drain with the hydrostat is clogged, in general, I dismantled the entire drain cup, heater and drain pump and cleaned what I could.

After assembling the dishwasher, it started up nicely and finishes the program, unfortunately the dishes are very dirty even though I turned on the longest program. I understand that white coating is a matter of poor salt / rinse aid dosage, but the dishes remain unwashed residue and white, cloudy water. Of course, I cleaned the upper and lower propeller, there was no tragedy there, the filter was cleaned systematically. As I had the dishwasher dismantled, I was worried about 2 things, the appearance of the ion-exchange bed and the tank in front of it, and something white in the element that is attached to the drain cup (thermostat?).

Below are photos, the dishwasher was previously used in the countryside with the multitab function enabled, so salt and rinse aid were not refilled, I know that the water there is drawn from the well and is heavily iron. Can these elements affect the quality of washing or rather look for a reason in the propellers themselves?

As I am already assuming the topic here, I would like to ask about the rinse aid reservoir in this dishwasher, the liquid escapes from it and the flap does not want to snap, although there are no signs of abrasion or damage to the latch. Maybe someone undressed and knows what is going on there?

Okay, I looked, looked and read ... And so .. In the pictures of other dishwashers I see that the deposits are just such a dark color, I thought I would have to replace. Coats are also in this color from the water, it is important that they are unobstructed. The element I was thinking about is the thermostat with the water turbidity sensor, the photo shows that this "something" white inside is broken, does this disqualify the sensor? Could you check it somehow? It seems to heat water normally, but at the end of the wash everything is covered with milk. So I think it would agree that a damaged sensor sees the water as clean, so it does not replace it and rinses the dishes with dirty water, possible? I have also found a dishwasher service so I will carry out calibrations.
As for the detergent dispenser, I found pictures and got a dishwasher without a button, so there is a flap to replace, the price of the new one, unfortunately, knocks, I will buy a used dispenser.

Refers to the i20 error in this dishwasher series

Everyone repeats the same mistake and mistakes = lack of knowledge.
    After cleaning:
    - filter
    - contaminated siphon trap
    - getting rid of water from the inside of the pressure hose, pressure sensor bracket
a test program must be performed to re-calibrate the sensors.
The test program is always required after an i20 error. If it turns out in time
test program i20 error will appear, you must reprogram the module.

Well, I wanted to do calibration but I can't enter the service mode. According to the instructions I found, https://www.4mcculloch.co.uk/images/mediator/553/599724893.pdf holds the first and third buttons on the panel (clock and arrow up) and turn on the dishwasher by pressing the button waiting 4 seconds, someone would hint how to do it? Does this chipped white element on the turbidity sensor disqualify him?

In SM (Service Manual) you have everything listed as on the tray. If the module does not enter the service mode, it means that it should be reprogrammed and then run the test program.
Chipped - does not mean damaged - is a relative concept. It all depends on whether the continuation of connections is preserved. In the case of the service mode, it will turn out whether this chipping matters.

Due to errors in this dishwasher combined with a lack of knowledge, a large part of them went to scrap. Some failures can be easily removed, the rest requires running a test program to calibrate. The rest of the reprogramming of the module itself. Repair cheap compared to the new dishwasher.

The problems in this dishwasher are caused by a lack of "hygiene" - frequent washing on ECO programs. And all you have to do is run the dishwasher once every six months with a cleaning agent for dishwashers and cleaners, and yet the dishes that we wash in the dishwasher are used to eat. When we open the dishwasher, we don't see everything. Most dirt deposits are where the eye cannot be seen.

I was able to enter the service mode and the calibration program is being done. So that it would remain for posterity, I would have to do it like this:
    1. Turn on the dishwasher so that the display shows [- -]
2.Press and hold S1 + S3 buttons together (clock and up arrow)
3.Turn off the dishwasher and then turn it on again
And the service mode started immediately, as I tried according to the instructions from SM, it was impossible to enter the service mode.
As for the colleague's statement, it is indeed the dishwasher that I got was terribly stained inside, all the recesses were stuck with such mud and stone. My woman was already looking for a new dishwasher and I insisted that I will fix it, she probably won't be happy that it worked :P Thank you very much for help and guidance.

    Wish it could be :)

If you clean it properly, rinse it and wash it out and from time to time depending on the intensity of washing you wash it with a cleaning agent, the dishwasher will serve you ho ho and a little.

As I mentioned after I got it, I thoroughly cleaned the whole settler, hoses, propellers, rotors and what I could. I have a habit of cleaning the dishwasher from time to time with special features. Since I got the dishwasher from my parents, all I had to do was to make my mother feel like buying something and let the dishwasher run sometimes, otherwise I will have to repair it heh. Thanks again for your support and advice. I think the topic is exhausted so I close. Regards
