    Hello.
Known and liked error 02 and similarly I had 2 years ago. Then the dishwasher was under warranty, a service technician arrived, entered the cleaning of the hydrostat chamber and actually helped. Maybe this time will help. Where is this chamber located and how to clean it? I took off the front cover (photos below). Generally, the symptoms are that after pumping out water, it doesn't charge. I checked the strainer at the solenoid valve, and the solenoid valve not yet.

Visible in the pictures, is the bottom of the dishwasher water, water residues or black liniment?

A liniment in the meaning of something that was "painted" in the factory? I would describe it more like a water residue. She was apparently dry. I don't know if now or before the previous failure. Sometimes the error popped up, the dishwasher stood up 5-7 days and started moving :)

I read earlier, based on the assumption that solutions are given for advanced service technicians. Once again, I read the topics slowly, hooking up for cleaning  link and maybe I'll take up the fight. For now, I cleaned this water purity sensor as someone called it (the red one) and as much as I could get inside with my finger. The question is whether such cleaning of this container is sufficient or whether to remove this container.

I wanted to do this dishwasher cleaning procedure, but I don't know what the bowl and filter are. Do you also need to start calibration after cleaning the purity sensor? Should the hose in the photo be detached?

Is the dishwasher cleaning process about unplugging this tube? Does this hose connect the bowl with the hydrostat (on the right side of the dishwasher)?

I took out the tube for washing. It turned out clean inside. I connected it from the side of the bowl. I injected water several times with the syringe. It didn't work. I wanted to give up, but I gave it one last chance. I poured water into the bowl so that it drips off the tube into a container. Water was dripping but muddy. I poured boiling water twice. I injected boiling water several times with a syringe through the tube and at some point it seemed to unplug. The water went full stream. I don't even know if there was anything there. Taken 5-6 to wash and so far everything is flying :D
    Thanks a lot :)

    Welcome back,
is it possible that somehow I turned off the sound signals in the dishwasher or did this function fail?

Nine months have passed and the replay of the entertainment. Every 2-3 washes turned off, but re-enabling helped. By the time. Now as in October, that is, he is constantly trying to pump out water that is not there and throws error "2". Just as I recently cleaned the tube with the bowl. They were messy and I thought it would help. Unfortunately, this time could not be done. Is this hydrostat also somehow cleaned? What is the work of this hydrostat?

Hydrostat, once it is to be replaced, is not undressed.

You didn't clean well. Hot water and a syringe.

This is the new set. You can buy and mount it
Do not search the rules of operation because you will get tired.

    Hello,
I have exactly the same symptoms - fast program: the heater heats, the others do not. Sometimes even on the fast one it doesn't heat.
The dishwasher is 13 years old.

Probably on the fast program it doesn't take sensor readings into account (compared to other programs) and therefore turns on the heater immediately as you start the program.

    I set about diagnosing.
    - heater works - 28 Ω
    - turbidity sensor, temp sensor I replaced with a new one, but nothing changed
    - hydrostat I checked and blew in the line, but I will check again

    To check:
    - tacho coil
    - relays in the control module

Topic summary

✨ The discussion revolves around troubleshooting Error 02 in the Electrolux ESL65070R dishwasher, specifically focusing on cleaning the hydrostat chamber. The user describes symptoms of the dishwasher failing to fill with water after draining. Previous experiences with a service technician involved cleaning the hydrostat chamber, which temporarily resolved the issue. Participants discuss the location and cleaning process of the hydrostat chamber, including the importance of cleaning the water purity sensor and the connecting tube. The user successfully cleaned the tube and hydrostat, leading to improved performance. However, recurring issues with the error signal and water drainage persist, prompting further inquiries about the hydrostat's function and maintenance.

FAQ

TL;DR: Error 02 on Electrolux ESL65070R often traces to a clogged hydrostat hose/chamber; one user verified “heater works – 28 Ω.” “Heater works – 28 Ω.” [Elektroda, foxlis, post #21691385]

Why it matters: This FAQ helps DIYers restore fill/heating by cleaning the hydrostat path or replacing the set if needed.

Quick Facts

What does Error 02 mean on the ESL65070R?

It indicates the control thinks the tub hasn’t filled, so it keeps draining and aborts. Users report constant pump‑out with no water intake before Error 2. This points to a pressure/level sensing issue, usually the hydrostat path clogging, not the inlet valve. [Elektroda, bowler, post #17357398]

Where is the hydrostat chamber and hose?

The hydrostat assembly sits on the right side. A small hose links it to the bottom bowl (sump). Cleaning involves unplugging that hose, as confirmed by service replies in the thread. [Elektroda, peter falk, post #16707244]

How do I clean the hydrostat hose and chamber?

Three steps: 1. Unplug the bowl‑to‑hydrostat hose. 2. Flush the path using hot water with a syringe until flow is clear. 3. Refit and test a short cycle. Experts summarize it as: “Hot water and a syringe.” [Elektroda, peter falk, post #17360521]

What if the hose looks clean but Error 02 persists?

Debris can sit in the bowl port or chamber. Pour boiling water into the bowl and let it drain through the hose into a container, repeating until a full stream appears. One user saw muddy water, then normal flow, and five to six good washes. [Elektroda, bowler, post #16734864]

Do I need to calibrate sensors after cleaning?

In this thread, the practical fix was only mechanical cleaning. No calibration steps were required or reported to solve Error 02 for these cases. [Elektroda, bowler, post #16734864]

What is the hydrostat on this dishwasher?

It’s the pressure‑sensing unit that reads water level via the small hose from the bowl. In the ESL65070R, helpers identify it on the right side, connected by that single hose. [Elektroda, peter falk, post #16707244]

Can the hydrostat be disassembled and cleaned internally?

No. A pro in the thread states the hydrostat is not meant to be opened. If the path is clear and errors persist, replace the hydrostat set. [Elektroda, mrice, post #17357679]

My dishwasher sometimes recovered after sitting for days—why?

Moisture and debris can shift as the machine dries. One user noted errors stopped after the dishwasher sat 5–7 days, then returned. That pattern fits a partial clog in the sensing path. [Elektroda, bowler, post #16699951]

How can I quickly confirm the hose is the issue?

Disconnect the bowl‑to‑hydrostat hose and push hot water through with a syringe. If resistance drops and flow becomes steady, you’ve cleared the blockage, a known successful field check. [Elektroda, peter falk, post #17360521]

When should I replace parts instead of cleaning?

If repeated flushes don’t restore normal filling or Error 02 returns quickly, replace the hydrostat set. The thread’s expert explicitly recommends replacement when cleaning won’t hold. [Elektroda, peter falk, post #17360521]

What is the turbidity (water purity) sensor and should I clean it?

It’s the “red” sensor in the sump that reads water clarity. A user cleaned it by hand, but Error 02 still required hydrostat‑path cleaning. It’s secondary to the level issue here. [Elektroda, bowler, post #16700049]

My heater tests 28 Ω—does that rule out heating faults?

A participant measured “heater works – 28 Ω.” That confirmed heating hardware on fast cycles, while fill/level issues blocked heating on others. Use 28 Ω as a sanity check, not the sole diagnostic. [Elektroda, foxlis, post #21691385]

What’s a tacho coil in this context?

It’s the motor speed feedback coil. One user planned to check it only after verifying sensors, relays, and the hydrostat path. Prioritize clearing Error 02 first. [Elektroda, foxlis, post #21691385]

Why does fast program heat but others don’t?

A user observed fast mode heating while others didn’t, suggesting program logic depends on sensor confirmations. If level sensing fails, the controller may inhibit heating. Fix the hydrostat path first. [Elektroda, foxlis, post #21691385]

Edge case: the hose is clear but it still drains—what next?

The chamber port can clog while the hose stays clear. Boiling‑water pours from the bowl side freed a hidden blockage and restored full stream in the reported case. [Elektroda, bowler, post #16734864]

Can I mute or restore the dishwasher’s beeps?

Yes. The thread shows a control screen indicating audio settings; the original poster adjusted them using the pictorial cues despite language differences. [Elektroda, bowler, post #17327962]
