[Solved] LG WD-10480TP: Door Lock Issue, Red Padlock Display, Troubleshooting & Solutions

Hello, I have a problem with the washing machine listed above, after standard washing (and waiting for the recommended time of 1-2 min) the door from the washing machine is blocked all the time (a graphic message is displayed on the interface, a red padlock with the key, as normally the door would be locked) and they don't want to open up for anything. I've tried several methods in turn:
- I checked if the child lock is activated, it is not, I tried to switch it and it did nothing.
- I disconnected the washing machine from the power for several minutes to reset, nothing else.
- I thoroughly cleaned the filter from the washing machine according to the instructions, unfortunately it did not help.
- We also tried to spin it or put it on a program to surprise, unfortunately nothing that did.

Water in the washing machine, as much as I can see does not stand, the washing machine model is LG WD-10480TP. Do you know what is the reason and possible solution?

I would be happy if you could at least provide a solution to open the washing machine at all, because the laundry inside is still stuck in order to open it until the service.

Unplug the washing machine from the power supply, remove the top cover and try to unlock the lock from the inside. Because several attempts should succeed. Don't pull the door handle, because you won't get anything.

I called for a technician to replace the entire lock, however.
