Windows 7 Update Failure: Unable to Install Latest Updates on PC and Laptop

Hello. I have a problem installing updates on a computer and a laptop with Windows 7. Namely, I'm going on a trip, so I decided to pull out of the closet laptop that I used last year probably a year ago to make any updates. Unfortunately, the system could not be updated because the screen below pops up. On the PC I use every day, I wanted to see from curiosity whether everything works and unfortunately I have the same thing. I don't know how long I've even had a leaky system. What could happen and how to fix it? I searched google, I did a few ways and nothing works, computers restarted many times and nothing. I downloaded the "Windows troubleshooter for Windows Update" from Microsoft and made some changes (it was shown as "fixed") but it didn't work.
Please help.


I will add that in "Services" "Windows Update" is running, stopped and turned on again and nothing happens.

"Go to Services (or the windows + R logo and type services.msc) and find the Windows Update service. PPM -> Stop.
Go to the C: \ Windows folder and find the SoftwareDistribution folder. Change its name to SoftwareDistribution.old (may be different, at your discretion).
Go to Windows Update and enable search. It should be okay "
