I have a Mercedes A 140, the battery was removed, the radio decoded, I have no code. The car was from Germany. I found some codes on the internet, but they don't match unless I approve it incorrectly. I can't count on mechanics in the area. Can anybody help me

First, pull out the radio. Watch them, sometimes on the housing there is a 4-digit code written by someone. If there is nothing there, then you will have some electronic service that will download the eeprom from the radio and upload a new one with the code off.

    5 digits

You have to read the eeprom and post the content on the forum, someone will probably count the code.

None of the mechanics will help you. Because it's not legal.

If it's yours, you should run it. :|

    Go to the website: http://forum.kody-radio.pl
Read, register and provide the required numbers rewritten from the radio stickers.
you will receive the correct code by email.
I had the same problem when disconnecting the battery in a NISSAN car with the factory Blaupunkt radio imported from Germany. The commission assured me that the card with the five-digit code attached to the instructions was for the radio. It turned out that this is a code for the immobilizer and not for the radio.
I received the correct code for FREE from the site administrators.
There were no "hooks" or conditions.

Who said that ? If someone is the owner of the car is the same everything that is in his equipment in this radio. And if someone in the form of a service offers emergency opening of the owner's car? Let's not be paranoid ...

if this is the original radio from this car, as far as I know the codes can be obtained based on the radio number and VIN of the car, look for some Mercedes A class forum register there and ask for help, there are people who have access to such data, there is a condition - the radio must be fitted in the car as standard.

In the FAQ tab of the above page, read what could be the reasons that you cannot log in after registration.
Check your email to see if you have received an email from them asking you to confirm your registration.
If none of these tips help then write an e-mail to the administrators of this page with a description of the situation and give them the mumers written on the stickers on the back of the radio. The email address is: forum.kody-radio(_at_)wp.pl

I gave the radio a decode, it now works.

The user has decoded the radio but lacks the necessary code, which is particularly challenging since the vehicle is a German import. Various solutions are suggested, including checking for a 4-digit code on the radio housing, reading the EEPROM data, and posting it on forums for assistance. Users recommend visiting specific websites to obtain the code based on the radio's serial number and the vehicle's VIN.
