Hi, I have a LED bulb and Lumenix 2835 12W and recently it is dimly lit as if 5% of the power and it is slightly dim as if it lacks power. What could have happened? Below is a photo of the center of the bulb

Probably the diodes are ok, only the internal electronics are gone and the trash with it ...

So nothing can be done? It is a pity because the seller promised that these LEDs are not very emergency and in general. It is a pity that I do not have a receipt because I would have sent the guarantee, but well.

You can try to figure it out, but LED sources are now so cheap that it is not profitable at all.

90% is a break due to a damaged diode, check one by one, damaged sometimes has a black dot, if there is one branch it can be shorted (damaged diode) some time comes.

That's right, it had a dot, so I shorted it as you wrote and it started to glow.
    Thanks for the hint.
One more question for you, how can I check them with a meter?

You won't check, these diodes have a voltage drop of about a dozen volts.

I will connect to the topic, if I can, I have the same situation, only that the bulb in one room shines in 100c/o and in the other the bulb does not light up like that, come on from a month ago it was all ok, why maybe someone knows?

I have a similar thing, in the wall lamp the new 60w LED bulb is dimly lit, after installing another lamp it is ok.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Lumenix 2835 12W LED bulb exhibiting dim lighting, akin to operating at 5% power. Initial responses suggest that the internal electronics may have failed, while others indicate that a damaged diode is likely the cause, often identifiable by a black dot. One user successfully resolved their issue by shorting a damaged diode. Additional inquiries reveal similar problems with other LED bulbs, indicating potential issues with compatibility or installation in different fixtures. Suggestions include checking diodes individually, although measuring them with a meter is deemed impractical due to their voltage characteristics.
