    Hello,

Due to a blocked phone through the Google account I tried to upload some older firmware with weaker security and something I had to mess with (inappropriate file or bad drivers / programs, I have no idea). The phone hangs and looks like the picture attached, no reaction whatsoever.
    Please help.

Uploading the firmware will not unlock you frp anyway. Without service, you can not do it.

I know, but the most important thing for me is the firmware that the phone would switch on normally. Just a photo of Google's lock costs PLN 50. I would like to add that the phone is a friend and I got him so alert because I tried to get around these blocks.

The phone was on several websites (they even sent it to the lg service) and they say that it got so mixed up with the software that it could not be done.

Will there be a spec here who would try to revive him or is the phone only suitable for the garbage?

Since the LG service has lost it is possible that it is some hardware damage. Maybe the eMMC memory is damaged.

Such proposals should be submitted in the GSM market section.

I have heard a lot about LG having problems with booting. Is it true whether it's just a matter of specific models? Reportedly, users of the G4 model have been the most common problem.

Whole series, but for different reasons. The cheaper models had problems with eMMC but in the case of the K * 2017 series I did not hear about it yet. G3, G4, V10, G Flex, in turn, have problems with the CPU / RAM of "bootloopy" flocks and various such circuses.

K10 2017 can not be beaten too much by the flash, even by licking soft and throwing him versions from another region. He did not get enough so that the download mode did not work and after downloading the download mode was forced by the user. Without a log out of some flashing program it's hard to assess what may be a problem and it amazes me a bit that the website was not able to put it on. In the information that the tel was sent to the service LG somehow I believe, I do not want because once that would be needed for proof of purchase (unless it was done somehow "to the left", after knowing) and two, that the service should replace or offer exchanged discs, etc.

Generally, it would be nice to log in with flashing z3x, octopus or something to assess what is currently on the phone and whether the soft throws to the end.

Free soft type LG Flash Tool or LGUP can be capricious, but you should not whip the phone.

A colleague with him walked on the sites and maybe a bit darken me to stretch on a new phone, but when I picked him up from this last service the guy said that nothing can be done, and the cost of the CD is like a new phone.
I do not remember what I mixed up in it, maybe it was soft for another version of k10?

If someone wants to play and try to fix it, I can send a phone, we can get along, as if it's priv. I also gave an advertisement in the gsm bazaar

FAQ

TL;DR: LG K10 2017 stuck at 0%? "Uploading the firmware will not unlock you frp anyway. Without service, you can not do it." Expect service involvement after flashing succeeds. [Elektroda, nutergsm, post #17267051]

Why it matters: This FAQ helps LG-M250n owners unbrick a 0%-stuck phone and understand FRP limits and costs.

Quick Facts

What does “stuck at 0% during LG K10 2017 update” usually mean?

It typically indicates a failed or interrupted flash, not necessarily a hard brick. K10 2017 units are hard to kill by software alone, and Download Mode can often still be forced. That means recovery through proper tooling remains likely before suspecting hardware. [Elektroda, blahfff, post #17381416]

Will flashing older firmware bypass the Google FRP lock on LG-M250n?

No. FRP remains after any standard flash. As one pro put it: "Uploading the firmware will not unlock you frp anyway. Without service, you can not do it." Plan to restore stock firmware first, then handle FRP with authorized service or specialist tools. [Elektroda, nutergsm, post #17267051]

How can I unbrick an LG K10 2017 that only shows Download Mode?

Try this 3-step approach:
  1. Install LG USB drivers and LGUP on Windows.
  2. Enter Download Mode (hold Volume Up, plug USB), load the correct M250n KDZ.
  3. In LGUP, select Upgrade or Refurbish, and flash to 100% without disconnecting. If it fails repeatedly, collect logs and consider pro tools. [Flash LG K10 2017 to Unbrick using LG Flash Tool]

Which tool should I use: LGUP, LG Flash Tool, or a professional box?

Start with LGUP or LG Flash Tool to restore a correct KDZ for M250n. If they misbehave, technicians use Octoplus or Z3X to log and verify partitions before deeper action. These pro boxes add insight when free tools stall or error. [Elektroda, blahfff, post #17381416]

Why does LGUP or LG Flash Tool fail mid-flash on K10 2017?

Free tools can be inconsistent with driver states, ports, and KDZ mismatches. As an expert noted, "Free soft type LG Flash Tool or LGUP can be capricious, but you should not whip the phone." Recheck drivers, cable, and exact M250n KDZ region. [Elektroda, blahfff, post #17381416]

How much does FRP removal for LG K10 2017 cost in service shops?

User-reported local quotes start around PLN 50 for removing the Google lock after you restore firmware. Pricing varies by shop and method. Always confirm whether the fee covers successful sign-in or full FRP removal with proof. [Elektroda, Pawelos90, post #17267145]

Could hardware damage be the reason my K10 2017 won’t flash?

Yes. If service centers fail to revive it, suspect eMMC or board-level faults. Damaged storage blocks firmware writes and prevents normal boot. In this edge case, software methods won’t help; board repair or replacement is required. [Elektroda, nutergsm, post #17376669]

Does sending it to LG service help if it’s soft-bricked?

Official service should restore stock firmware and, if needed, offer board-level repairs. If they decline or fail, request diagnostics and replacement options. A competent shop will also examine logs before concluding hardware failure. [Elektroda, blahfff, post #17381416]

Are bootloop issues common on LG phones, and does K10 2017 suffer?

LG’s G3, G4, V10, and G Flex had known CPU/RAM bootloop issues. K-series 2017 models weren’t widely flagged for that. As one expert said, "Whole series, but for different reasons." K10 2017 issues are more about software or storage. [Elektroda, blahfff, post #17381416]

How can I check if the phone still enters true Download Mode?

Power off, hold Volume Up, then connect USB to PC. The screen should show Download Mode and Windows should detect a new device. If it fails, try another cable or port, then consider forced mode with pro tools for confirmation. [Elektroda, blahfff, post #17381416]

Can I mix firmware from another region on LG-M250n?

Cross-region KDZ sometimes flashes without killing the device, but mismatches cause errors or instability. Always match model (M250n) and prefer your region’s KDZ. If you tried wrong variants, restore with the correct one to stabilize. [Elektroda, blahfff, post #17381416]

Where can I find a step-by-step guide to flash KDZ on K10 2017?

A community-shared walkthrough shows using LG Flash Tool to unbrick the K10 2017. Follow its driver setup, KDZ selection, and flash steps closely. Use it as a reference alongside LGUP for the M250n variant. [Elektroda, zjo, post #17266608]

What logs should a technician pull before declaring the phone dead?

Technicians use Octoplus or Z3X to read flash logs, partition states, and error codes. Logs confirm whether KDZ writes complete and identify partition or eMMC failures. This evidence prevents misdiagnosis before hardware repair. [Elektroda, blahfff, post #17381416]

Is there a video guide I can follow?

Yes. A referenced video tutorial demonstrates the process visually. Use it to validate steps like entering Download Mode, KDZ selection, and flash progression. Pair it with correct M250n files and drivers. [Elektroda, nutergsm, post #17266545]

Is it worth replacing the mainboard versus buying a new phone?

One report said the board replacement quote was similar to a new phone’s price. If eMMC or board is bad, compare total repair cost to current device value before proceeding. Data recovery value may influence your decision. [Elektroda, Pawelos90, post #17387970]
