You can try the + volume button and the key at the bottom of the screen and insert the charger.
Then select reboot from the menu and it should boot normally.

Try to press vol- and vol + at the same time and connect to the charger. I'm not sure if it will work with this model.
You can definitely boot via adb by typing reboot. You will need a computer and minimal adb and fastboot drivers.

Well, unfortunately, I tried the volume buttons a few times at a time, but nothing of it .. And as for this method with the computer, I will try it, but I have to first see what and how, i.e. these drivers because I'm green in it

A strange way, but it works, I checked, you just need to quickly remove and insert the batteries.

This model does not have a removable battery, so without disassembling the phone (and this could help fix the switch) it cannot be done.

It is certainly not possible to start the phone in this way because neither ADB nor fastboot (this mode is not available at all in Samsung) does not work on a turned off phone.

The first advice was generally good, but you should hold down vol- + home + power (if power does not work the same vol- + home and plug in the charger) and on the first screen again vol- to restart instead of launching the download mode. Not every play will enter download mode if the switch does not work.
You can try a "plug" which will force the download mode after connecting (you can buy "unbrick jig samsung" for pennies or do it yourself), but then the phone will immediately enter the download and you have to figure out how to force restart from this level.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around methods to power on a Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 when the power button is non-functional. Suggested solutions include pressing the volume up and home buttons while connecting the charger, although success may vary. Some users mentioned using ADB commands via a computer, but this requires prior setup of drivers. Another unconventional method involves quickly removing and reinserting the battery, but this is not applicable as the A5 2017 has a non-removable battery. The conversation highlights the limitations of the device's recovery options, including the inability to access download mode without a functioning power button.
