Backlight lenses have fallen off, panel to be stripped and re-pasted.

But how did it fall off ... the same from itself ???
Or maybe he came back from repairing the backlight from authorized the service? ;-)

So weird They came to me several times with single wheels, and recently I had a rattle where almost all lenses fell off, except that it did not shine. Why, these lenses stick to the word of humor. They jump away from just looking at them :)

Well, they pop up "willingly", but so suddenly, more than 20 pieces flew out and the author suddenly noticed?

Maybe in transport. He was driving on the cobblestones, counting the "hopki" on large gas, and I have cases that customers are carrying in the back seat or in the trunk lying down, screen down :)

They fall off themselves. I've already had in various brands (mainly LG, Philips and Panasonic, and to a lesser extent Samsung) such cases that they all fell off. The factory used poor glue.

In LG with large lenses, they probably don't even use glue, only hot press. This is how it looks to me.
If it gets warm for a few years, it stops. However, the new slats hold the lenses well.

So it's possible that I wrote it correctly:

Seriously, how can they fall off the same way? Why is LG after all ...

Maybe they were hot in the heat and they fell off :) in any case, the TV screen itself has already fallen away. They dropped off in a few days.

If you remove the matrix you will see that they have fallen off, it happens so unfortunately.

If I remove the matrices, there will probably be nothing more to collect? There is no point in proposing this to the casual user. Your wife, girlfriend or even lover will be desperate, and you will have to spend a little more quickly.

You have to be unfortunately skilled and calmly do it without nerves.

It's probably such a general ailment for most LG TVs ...

Buddy ertivo do not go this way, do not do it yourself because you will damage the matrix. Not long ago a colleague wanted to replace the backlight and is now looking for "display".

We have the same on LG TV, I wonder whether to buy a new one, or to undress and try to fix it?

Repair certainly costs less than buying a new tv, replace with new strips.

Try it if you have technical skills, because electronic skills are not needed here. You have everything on the tray.

You need to replace the new led strips and that's it, the most important thing: when removing the matrix and inserting it the most important CAUTION !!!!

Place the removed matrix on a smooth cloth to prevent scratching.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the issue of white spots appearing on the LG 42LB650V LCD TV screen, attributed to the falling off of backlight lenses. Users suggest that this problem may stem from poor adhesive used in manufacturing, leading to lenses detaching over time or due to transport mishandling. Several responses provide DIY solutions, including disassembling the TV to reattach or replace the lenses, with caution advised during the process to avoid damaging the matrix. Some participants express skepticism about the feasibility of repairs for casual users, while others note that replacing LED strips is a viable solution. The consensus indicates that while this issue is common in LG TVs, it is not universal across all models.
