Wordpress panel - You cannot log in to the admin panel at https

Hi. I went to this site and it actually worked, but only after adding a security exception. A message popped up sounding like this SSL_ERROR_XXX_XXX.
But I will tell you that in addition to this, it is still not possible to get to the administrative panel via the address threekolory.com.pl/wp-admin. The message "The page isn't redirecting properly" pops up. It looks like you've probably changed the name of the directory or file index.php.
Check if you have this folder and all files in it.
If not, I would try to copy them manually where they should be.

Maybe it is enough to restore the index.php file from the wp-admin directory to the original. There's probably some redirection there.
If the directory did not exist then the page would show a 404 error message.

Make sure you have cookies enabled, clear them and the entire browser cache.

Edit the wp-login.php file from the main Wordpress directory.

The wp-login.php file should be in the main directory. It depends on how you uploaded the files.
Try to copy it via FTP after logging in where it indicates the current location in the folder tree.

Buddy, wordpress is a nice thing, but you have to understand its functioning a bit, since you wrote with http: https, you have already washed all the configurations. But there is always a database go to the database and in the settings look for the tables (options) and then in the first 2 lines change siteurl and home to correct or http. It will work.

This option is independent of wordpress and server, since you changed the wordpress panel from http to https then ftp has nothing to do with this problem.

Dude, if "grandma had hairs she would be grandfather". DO NOT suggest modifications to files that should NEVER be touched in wordpress.

I did not propose to manually edit / modify the index.php file from the wp-admin directory, I only suggested uploading a fresh original version of the file. After all, he could keep the old file by changing its name. The file may have been damaged or its permissions may have changed, because there is a problem with FTP.
Let's hope that TomD still has access to the database and will do what you wrote and solve your problem.

The "wp-admin" directory is holy, as is the "wp-includes" directory, these are two directories you don't touch. Due:
1. system damage

There may be several problems here. Access via ftp is possible in two ways: ftp or sftp. However, for changes between ftp and sftp to work, changes must be made to the server settings - not the site. These are two different things. As for ftp and login method, please check server settings. And it is certain that the interested party changed the ftp server to sftp but does not have an SSL certificate and therefore can log in but can not see the files.
And the website is a different story and different settings. The interested party did not answer, but it is possible to check the server settings using the server ftp program.

Changing the settings can (I know such cases, but unfortunately the hopeless servers) but does not have to affect the permissions on the files. And, unfortunately, a little bit of work will be done to fix it - certainly do not change the index file !!

Domain, server, ftp, system are different things and their configuration is different for each of the above options. But from my experience I don't recall that there are possible domain settings related to ssl. Unless it is some hosting that has combined functions (there are such hosting plans) but then you have to be very careful. Check and find out what was the reason that everything stopped working
