    Hello!
I set up a password on my phone, but when entering the password I had to make a mistake and I can't unlock my phone. I didn't have Wi-Fi on or data was turned on, so you don't have to unlock by Google and Samsung. I would not like to lose all the data on the phone. Unless nothing can be done. At my operator's Orange they said that they can do nothing but restore to factory settings. The phone is a Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 Duos. What can I do to unlock this phone and not lose data?
Thank you in advance for your help.

If you don't remember the data, you will not unlock the phone. To restore functionality you need to perform a hard reset or upload new software but this will result in data loss.

Or look around for a phone service that also unlocks such phones. Depending on the software version, "goes" to unlock this phone. The issue is also how much you value your data.

With J3 2017, even on the site they will not remove this lock without losing data. Regardless of the software version. The FRP problem also remains, unless the Google account details are known, there is no subject.

Depending on the FW version, despite the enabled FRP data can be downloaded.

BMT pro manages this model even if FRP is enabled.

What version of the system? I can help, but provide some evidence that the phone is yours and not stolen.

I haven't heard of such a mistake about one letter yet. The password is usually entered twice when creating an account. Do you have papers for him?

What do you need papers for?
Do you have any legal grounds that you need purchase documents to remove the code on your phone?

If I come to you with an old Nokia 3310 to remove the security code, you won't do this to me because I don't have any "papers"? :D

Do it at your own risk. This is a forum and no one will help in this crime. 'I forgot my password' is the most common excuse.

Give a legal basis or stop writing nonsense and don't mislead others.

Would you do someone's phone that is "yes about" without any proof of purchase? Because I do not.
Every good service I've ever been in requires a proof of purchase. There will always be somebody who will do this on the side for extra money, but in the event the police go to you.

Anyway, FRP serves as an anti-theft lock. If the phone has a frp lock, in my opinion it already stinks for a kilometer - we respect, how can you forget the account password that is required for using the phone.

    Another post that is misleading.
The next one will have consequences.

A Google account is not required to use the phone. Many times I also encountered a situation where the user set up an "on fire" account because he needed to download some application, or someone else created it because he could not and the password to the account then "evaporated". I will not play statistics because it cannot be verified and it cannot be hidden that some such phones will be found or stolen pieces. Then you have a choice, or you will make and earn (I don't know where you think, on the side - there is a service, there is a receipt) or you can earn someone else. Following this line of reasoning is a simlock (I skip that this is a topic that almost died in our company) also you should not download without proving that the customer has terminated the contract with the operator.

In the subject, EFT (after the last auction) seems to also make J330F / FN to the binary 3 version, which is currently available.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around unlocking a Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 Duos without losing data after the user forgot their password. Several responses indicate that without access to Wi-Fi or mobile data, traditional methods like Google or Samsung account recovery are unavailable. Users suggest options such as seeking professional phone services that may unlock the device without data loss, although this is not guaranteed. The conversation also touches on the implications of Factory Reset Protection (FRP) and the necessity of proof of ownership for unlocking services. Overall, the consensus is that while data preservation is challenging, some specialized services may offer solutions depending on the software version.
