    Hello,

I'm looking for a Cat router. 11 or 12 for up to PLN 900 and where I will not look, Huawei B618 (Cat. 11) or B715 (Cat. 9). FritzBox! there is nothing new at the moment either, and ASUS 4G-AC68U is a Cat. 6.

Currently I have a ZTE MF286 (I think Cat. 9), my contract ended, I extended Orange Love with Huawei B618 and tested and then withdrawn from the distance contract because it was too expensive in the package, separately cheaper. I tested the B618 and there was a big difference on + but it is Huawei that is unsure about security. There's an interesting other router out of Cat out there. 11? ASUS and Netgear also do not present anything.

Have you read nonsense about Huawei and duplicating it, can you think for yourself? As of today, there are B618 and B715 in your budget. MF286 is 6 cat. LTE and not long ago ZTE by. USraju was also a threat to security.
Helpful post? Buy me a coffee.

If you think that I am going with the wave of hate on Huawei because this is the current fashion, you are wrong. My attitude towards Huawei has been unchanged for years, so do not accuse me of propagating rumors here.

Simple. You put Huawei as a gateway to the Internet, and you connect a wired router to it, which in your opinion is safe in terms of security. Yes, two devices, but what is a few Watts in addition to be safe.

I personally have the B715 on the roof. Works fast, although it's not stable, requires periodic reboots, at least for me. But what is worse, the configuration options are such that I can not imagine not placing my router behind one that can be configured as you want and like.

Any router over 2 years old left without a software update by the operator poses a threat to the user.
Probably my colleague has heard about intentional backdoors in routers.
