    Hey hey,

I've been looking through quite a few posts regarding 4 band aggregation routers. From the reviews, it seems that the Huawei 818-263 would be the best. As far as I can see, this router is no longer available for sale. You can buy a used one for 700zl on Allegro or I saw a new one on Amazon for 1300zl. Is there something equally good available on the market that you recommend, or is it worth investing in the Huawei Teo? Personally, I would prefer to invest in something new from Polish distribution. Would a good alternative be the OPPO 5G CPE T1a desktop router?

My situation is that I travel a lot. I use the internet in Szczecin and Poznan, so big metropolises. The problem I have with the internet on my phone is that it simply freezes. During a meeting, I get cut off for 10s, then the speed is ok again for 5min and then it cuts off again and so on. I am looking for a good router with band aggregation and a strong GSM antenna built in (due to the movement of the antennas, an external one is out of the question).

I am a "layman" in the subject and I am open to any good advice.

Thanks for your help :) .

And who gives an opinion that the B818-263 is the best, I have a different opinion. It is a router from 4 years ago, it has a very good LTE modem but an average router. A router without the support of Huawei, which is no longer involved in this segment of the market.

    .

I agree with you that this is a router that has already been many years on the market and there are certainly better options. Certainly a powerful LTE modem is something I need. Is there a product you would recommend from your side?

It is a matter of budget, if there is no external antenna option, then a router with 3 CC CA QAM256, used one can be had for 300-400 PLN, in cities the main role is played by LTE2600+2100+1800 anyway. New one with 4 CC CA QAM256, on IPQ4019 with X24 is less than 800 PLN. If you want something on the high end, it is about PLN 1100 for a used LBR20 with the option of connecting external antennas.
Finally, 5g/LTE, where the choice is quite wide, there is no shortage of equipment on the X55, the aforementioned OPPO T1A, MC801A or on Mediatek ACER PREDATOR 5G. Price 800-1100 PLN for used, from Polish operators.

Would you recommend something specific: "Brand new with 4 CC CA QAM256, on IPQ4019 with X24 less than £800". Forgive me for asking but it's hard to find something by specs especially as many sites skimp on information ;) .

From what you have written, I infer that you know. The equipment has been ordered. Worst case option 14 days to return :) .

    Thanks!

A result twice as good as the one on the phone. I will monitor for the next week working remotely, but the first results are already promising.

    Hi,

How is the router performing? Are you using an external antenna?
I was going to buy one - but can't find info on band aggregation - as far as I can see there is only a manual option to change them. What's it like in the end?
