Hello. Recently, before laying cables on the pipe, I was browsing through forum topics on whether the cables should be laid in or without conduits on the screed, and from what I read, the conduit only protects the cables from mechanical damage, only during construction work, and then it doesn`t matter anymore. So I installed it without conduits, just attaching the cables to the pipe with pins and holders. Now put black foil on the pipe (and these cables), then polystyrene, underfloor heating and screed. And here I was surprised by my friend who said that this cannot be the case because the pipe has no insulation and water will accumulate between it and the foil (where the wires are placed) and the wires will heat up because they will be covered with foil and Styrofoam. Is he right? Honestly, I don`t see myself tearing it all off now, especially since the plaster has already been laid...

You read what you wanted, added your own interpretation and you have a problem.
Of course, it does not have to reveal itself immediately, but time can take its toll. After all, this concrete screed will always work.
Time will tell whether the insulation will be damaged because of this.
Nobody knows whether it has already been damaged or will be damaged during the installation of the sytropian.

I avoided and avoid cables laid in the floor like the plague.
For me this is not the happiest solution.
And I don`t even want to think about a bare cable on concrete covered with polystyrene.

What are you left with now that the plaster has been laid?
I don`t know. Any troughs or covers?
    Get creative.

Can you describe why you placed the wires on the skinny? What for? Because I can`t really understand the meaning.

Having plaster installed is not the end of the world. The ground will settle, the floor will work, it may crack, and it will be weighed down by subsequent layers. You need to cut out the grooves in the concrete and reinstall the installation. In my opinion, this is the only thing that can be done.

Apart from one information that the screed may crack (although I have always reinforced it), a crack does not have to cut the pipe, no one wrote why not to lay it.
Styrofoam insulates. The cable gets hot and burns out. This means that it would have to be continuously fed with 15A, i.e. 3 kW. So what would he have to do in an ordinary house?
He put it down, let him have it. He`ll break the cables and put new ones in the plaster.
