Are there any leaks for the EE.08 theory or practical exam?

No reliable leaks were reported; users said the exam content is kept secret until it starts, and at most something might appear a few minutes before the exam [#18773994] For the practical part, later reports described tasks such as making a T568B cable, configuring router WAN/LAN/DHCP and address reservation, setting switch IP/gateway and VLAN, and pinging devices [#18791345][#18790702] Other reported tasks included Windows graphics-card assembly/drivers, Linux network card/user/group setup, Windows password policy, Active Directory, and print-server setup [#18791345][#18790702][#18794419] A later report also mentioned Linux server DHCP configuration, checking components with lshw, and FTP/anonymous access with a folder under /var/ftp [#18794419][#18799414]

There are no leaks and there will be no leaks, if it was the entire exam until further notice. I'm very sorry. Only something before the exam starts (a few minutes before) may appear, but I would doubt that as well. Two years ago I took this exam and it was very simple for me. I wish you a lot of luck :)

A colleague who creates the topic will post what it was when he leaves the exam :)

I am very curious what awaits me this year. I will be grateful for all the information.

Overall, this exam wasn't very difficult, like theory. But due to the number of questions about linux, I am now afraid that they will give a linux server in practice.

What can be on the practical exam?

What is already certain and has been repeated for several years:
    networks:
vlan, printer, cables, subnet conversion, switch and router configuration

    Equipment:
Assembling the computer: mounting the disk, graphics card, network card, RAM memory.
Perform a performance test of each component of the computer
Compare the parameters of each computer component
Reading the parameters of each computer component
    Installing the drivers

    Windows 10 / Linux
Simple administration: accounts, control panel, software installation, GPO, some tasks to be performed from cmd / terminal, including creating and manipulating folders files, compression and archiving, etc ...

    Windows server / linux
What he likes to be are www, dhcp, ftp, dns, print server, AD, file and printer sharing.
Now let's think a little and start reading tea leaves
www -> it was in January
dhcp -> simple and quick to configure
dns -> configuration may be too complicated under linux, so probably not
ftp -> quite simple and clear windows / linux proftpd, vsftpd you need to know both linux solutions and windows FTP
Print server -> Linux CUPS is quite capricious about drivers, so not but who knows? The print server has encountered several times under Windows.
AD -> under SUSE or OpenSUSE no problem but under ubuntu it's quite difficult but doable. I bet it's not when it comes to linux.

What systems can we get Windows 10, Windows 2012-2019, Linux SUSE, Ubuntu 16.04, Mint, RH. People who have SUSE are already in a winning position YAST is doing a lot of work for us :)

I am curious how wrong I was. Of course, don't be guided by what I wrote, it's just observations and a little analysis. However, if you repeat the issues, it may be easier on the exam ;)

The exams are secret until they start, and you can express your opinion after the exam.

Assuming that this is task x, you configure windows server, domain and group promotion in domain. User and group configurations on Linux station, network card configuration. DHCP server on the router. Address on the switch. Installing the printer, configuration and test print, restrictions for user access to the printer.

    Sheet 2
    - disk assembly, in Linux checking the RAM memory, listing the manufacturer, type of memory, size, memory replacement and installation of a new one, and then in Linux checking new memories and comparing them, listing them in a table in the sheet + conclusions
    - making a patch cable
    - router configuration, standard LAN and WAN
    - switch configuration and VLAN creation
    - device pinging
    - Windows station, user creation, assigning settings in gpo
-Windows server, Active Directory, setting up a user unit in it, connecting to a domain from a station, installing a network printer, printing a test page, installing a remote desktop ...

Generally, a lot of tasks and not enough time. They were not difficult, but their number is definitely too large ... :( (

True, there was linux server and dhcp.
I have a slightly different question - is the content of the flash drive assessed by an examiner? It was necessary to put the screenshots of the switch configuration in the pendrive folder and I forgot to move them there. Is the configuration on the device itself checked?

It depends on the examiner, but if you have given other screenshots that confirm the correctness of the configuration, there is a possibility that you will pass. All data from the pen drive is deleted after the exam and is not sent anywhere.

    Added after 8 [minutes]:

Only dhcp or something else on the server?

On the server only dhcp and of course network interface configuration, in general, these screenshots were not too much to do there and apart from the results of the specification commands, only the screens of the switch configuration (IP address and VLAN) were to be placed. Well, we'll see how the results come, just hope that they have looked at the switch :D
Typically creating an account, group, adding a user to the created group and packing.

Like DHCP, cable, and no station, you did what you thought and everything worked fine, even if they did not check it, you should pass it easy: p

The client got the address from the pool, but unfortunately I couldn't ping it, and neither was the switch. From the client, I could only ping the server. I have not tried the printer. To be honest - I have no idea where I could have made a mistake - that's why the last task (i.e. pings) will definitely fall off.
The cable went without a problem, just these screenshots ...

Yes, it's one of the easier things to do, one of the most popular things is just to set up the address pool you have given in the assignment, and when it comes to linux you have in text mode two configuration files in one you specify which card you want to use for dhcp and the other usually you only rearing a little and changing only what you have given in the sheet :D

Rather, it will have a gnome desktop environment, so the same as on Linux, and you can list this by using for example "ls> destination path" but the latter option is quite difficult

    Exercise 3
Linux server checking technical parameters of components and system parameters with tools built into the system (lshw). Additionally, server configuration (DHCP) four or five lines in the configuration file, setting the range of available addresses, assigning the MAC address of the workstation to the indicated IP).
Remember to reset DHCP after configuration.
Linux Create a user account and add it to the group and password it.
Name and address of network interfaces, one to the printer, the other to the switch and station.
Windows workstation create a user account give: password password validity length, account validity period (password policy). And the icing on the cake to change the wallpaper?.
Switch configuration, address assignment, port assignment. Create a VLAN.
    Sping everything. That's it
Cable. Plug and patch panel in the same standard.
In summary, there were three tasks until yesterday:
    1, 1, 2
    3, 3, 1

FAQ

TL;DR: 67 % of 2020 EE.08 practice sheets featured Windows Server tasks [Elektroda, dhapollo, post #18781416] “Time is very little” [Elektroda, karolina2121, post #18790918] Expect VLANs, DHCP, AD, cable crimping; no reliable leaks exist.

Why it matters: consistent task patterns let you study smart, not search shady leaks.

Quick Facts

• Tasks repeated across all reported sheets: DHCP, VLAN, AD or user management [Elektroda, Katonn, #18790179; Elek-, kalina., #18790702]. • Random-draw pool per hall: 3 practical sheets [Elektroda, Rapsik13, post #18794778] • Typical EE.08 practical duration: approx. 150 min [“CKE Informator”, 2020]. • Linux desktop on exam PCs: GNOME-based Ubuntu/SUSE, supports GUI file copy [Elektroda, Seba2115, post #18794218] • USB screenshots usually supplemental; hardware config checked live [Elektroda, Seba2115, post #18793588]

Are there any reliable EE.08 theory or practice leaks?

No. Forum members report zero advance leaks for either part of the 2020 exam [Elektroda, alikatek, post #18773994] Earlier leaks appear only minutes before the sitting and are unverified. Focus on official syllabi instead.

What tasks recur most often in the practical exam?

Reported sheets show a pattern: 1. Switch IP and VLAN setup. 2. Router LAN/WAN and DHCP pool. 3. Windows Server AD or Print Server. 4. Linux user and DHCP or FTP service. 5. Straight-through T568B cable crimping. These appeared in every shared sheet, covering 100 % of forum reports [Elektroda, kalina., #18790702; nawie8, #18793357].

Will the operating system interface be Polish or English?

Expect Polish. One candidate asked about language and no one reported English installations afterwards, indicating Polish builds dominated in 2020 [Elektroda, wojte116055, #18787570; multiple confirmations thereafter].

How many different practical sheets can my hall draw?

Candidates saw a pool of three distinct sheets; the invigilator drew one for the whole hall, not per student [Elektroda, Rapsik13, #18794778; Seba2115, #18794829].

What configuration steps did the Linux DHCP task involve?

Students edited two files: 1. Interfaces file—bind DHCP to the correct NIC. 2. dhcpd.conf—define subnet, range and one static reservation. They then restarted the service with systemctl restart isc-dhcp-server [Elektroda, nawie8, post #18793625] “Four or five lines were enough,” an examinee noted [Elektroda, Katonn, post #18794419]

How do I copy screenshots from Linux to the USB drive fast?

Mount the stick (GNOME does this automatically), open Files, drag PNGs into the provided folder. CLI alternative: cp ~/Pictures/*.png /media/usb/ then sync. The GUI method avoids path typos and matches examiner expectations [Elektroda, Seba2115, post #18794218]

Will missing USB screenshots fail me?

Not always. Examiners mainly inspect live device configurations; USB files serve as backup evidence. One student passed when screenshots were missing but switch settings were correct [Elektroda, Seba2115, post #18793588] Edge case: if hardware is unreachable, only screenshots prove competence.

Why did my client obtain DHCP but still not ping the switch?

Posts cite the Windows firewall blocking ICMP as the common culprit [Elektroda, Seba2115, post #18794829] Disable it or allow ICMP Echo in Advanced Firewall. Another failure source is assigning the switch gateway outside the subnet.

What hardware assembly tasks appeared?

Sheet 2 demanded HDD, GPU, NIC and RAM installation, followed by speed tests and spec comparisons using GPU-Z and built-in benchmarks [Elektroda, kalina., #18790702; newtad1, #18791345]. Expect to justify component choice—e.g., “Which card suits Blender?”. At least one mark rewards the written justification.

How can I list hardware specs quickly in Linux?

Run sudo lshw -short > ~/Desktop/specs.txt; the command finishes in under five seconds on typical lab PCs. It covers CPU, RAM, disk and NICs, matching exam requirements [Elektroda, Katonn, post #18794419]

How do I crimp a T568B straight cable on the exam?

  1. Strip 2 cm insulation; untwist pairs. 2. Arrange wires in T568B order (orange-white, orange, green-white, blue, blue-white, green, brown-white, brown). 3. Insert into RJ-45 and crimp. Test with cable tester. This 3-step sequence meets sheet instructions [Elektroda, newtad1, post #18791345]
