Panasonic DVD-RA71 Firmware Upgrade: Check Current Version & Obtain ISO Image Disc

Hi,

I recently got a gorgeous champagne coloured DVD Player Panasonic DVD-RA71; I saw on-line that there should be a firmware upgrade disc available, but first I would like to check the current firmware version of the unit.

Do you know the procedure to check the firmware? Does it require the recovery disc? In that case, does anyone have that disc in iso image format?
