hi I'm trying to fix a panasonic tv with a 17mb82-1a, from what I've read I need to update the firmware but can't find the correct file, can anyone help me? I also don't have the remote will I need one to install new firmware?

You cannot install software without the remote control. You need the OK key. Or programmer to rewrite the flash memory.
