Then you need to be interested in programs like exiftool to get the date from the metadata. ps. and don't reheat old chops

You can use mediainfo, too, but exiftool will be more powerful. I am sure ChatGPT can do it fast.

I would need the script to create directories based on the date the photo was taken.
I created directories called year_month (YYYY_MM) and then moved the photos to these directories regardless of the filenames.
