    Hello,

I plan to buy a dishwasher for the kitchen using the Ikea methods, the current one does not fit into the built-in - too long front .. and I do not like the sliding / broken hinge from Ikea.
The dishwasher is 45cm wide. I searched the internet and only found the Bosch SMV87TX01E model. Does anyone know which dishwasher will fit?
    thank you!

Rather, you have no choice when you go with ikea inventions. Like it or not, the patent for the dishwasher will have to be, or you give up the dishwasher. Ikea has taller cabinets than the standards and hence dishwashers without patents do not fit in their kitchens.

I don't know how to 45cm, but up to 60cm has a problem with that. The set includes dedicated legs and each dishwasher can be inserted. You have to ask.

Thanks for the answers. Can you say something more about the dedicated feet? You mean slip hinges from Ikea?

Maybe give a photo of what it looks like, because you gave Bosch a standard size, 60cm in addition, and you write 45cm.
I have sliding hinges, the Ikea dishwasher does not have additional feet and it is OK.

After installing the front, the dishwasher opens to an angle of less than 45 degrees.
Is there an option to buy a dishwasher not from Ikea to match this furniture? As I wrote, I do not want sliding hinges ..

There are no options, either the sliding hinges or the broken front in the lower part (even more nasty than the sliding hinges.
The furniture front from Ikea is physically too long to fit in the dishwasher cavity provided for it. Therefore, if you screwed the front permanently, you cannot open the door.

By the way, I'm curious how you assembled this front ...

I finally installed these expensive sliding hinges, I still had to shoe the wall so that the dishwasher would go deeper and it's not as bad as I thought

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around finding a suitable dishwasher for an Ikea kitchen setup, specifically addressing the challenges posed by Ikea's unique cabinetry and hinge designs. The user is looking for a 45cm wide dishwasher that can fit into their built-in kitchen, as their current model does not fit due to a long front panel and issues with sliding hinges. Responses indicate that Ikea's taller cabinets necessitate specific dishwashers, often requiring proprietary hinges. The Bosch SMV87TX01E model is mentioned, but users express concerns about compatibility with non-Ikea dishwashers, particularly regarding the installation of the front panel and hinge functionality. Ultimately, the consensus suggests limited options, with either sliding hinges or potential issues with the front panel's fit.
