    Hi
I want to buy a washing machine https://www.mediaexpert.pl/agd/pralki-i-suszarki/pralki/pralka-electrolux-ew6t5061p unfortunately, but nevertheless I am forced to use the extension of the inlet and outlet hose and perhaps the power cord.

And here I have some doubts - when it comes to the inlet hose I need it to be 4m, unfortunately nowhere I found information on how much are the factory hoses and whether they can be replaced without loss of warranty or whether only the extension comes into play.

Generally I found such hoses and I wonder if they will be ok, although I would prefer that both ends are straight (I mean more about the company or something than the length itself)

When it comes to the drain hose, from what I understand only an extension is involved (although I only need 2.5 m here)
I read that this is done with e.g. such a kit
but honestly as I look at it I somehow don't want to believe that I will be able to trust it for years- on the other hand maybe it works after all since people are buying ;)

(I'm providing a link from allegro because I couldn't find it anywhere else-if anyone is reading this and the link has already expired it includes the hose, two clamps, a plastic connector)

I'm also wondering about the power cord- from the front of the washing machine to the outlet I have about 1m- if the cable is not enough then will such a strip be ok?

maybe you have some tips on how to approach the subject because with water and electricity as we know is no joke and therefore I would like to make everything tight and work as needed :)

You can extend the inlet and outlet hoses. However, extending the power cord with an extension cord is not an option . Take care of your safety and that of your loved ones. Set up the washing machine so that you do not need to extend the power cord.

Unfortunately, but other setting is not an option - I would have to do a renovation - then no extensions would also be needed, but it is as it is - the previous washing machine was compact and stood in a cabinet in the kitchen - unfortunately, there are no more that would fit there and I have to put a new one in the bathroom where the situation is such that I have to extend the utilities, the renovation is too much expense - I live alone so anyway I intend to disconnect the washing machine from the power supply during standstill.

Hello friend, you wrote "I want to buy a washing machine", then with the replacement of the cable for a longer one I do not see a problem (mains). The water supply is up to 5 m, you wrote 2.5 m, the drain remains, that is, the height, distance, whether the water pump can cope with this pressure.

If there is no other choice, then you can use only an approved extension cord without a switch to connect the washing machine to the mains, because these switches usually have too small working contact capacity. For example, this type: https://www.przedluzacz.com.pl/produkt/przedluzacz-wzmocniony-h05vv-3x25-2m-rozgaleznik/
With water hoses there is no problem to purchase in many stores.

Inlet hose can be bought even one that has 5m, so give yourself a combination and extension. Here on a popular auction site first from the shore:

Similar is with the drain hose are also what and have 5m:

Transfer them is not problematic, but formally it should be done by an authorized service, no less it is the best solution. The extension kit that you have linked can also be, BUT you need to remember that at the point of connection, where the nipple is like to collect faff and once in a while it can get clogged.

Power cord theoretically also can be replaced with a longer one and this is the best solution, but if not, then the usual simplest extension cord (one plug one socket) such as garden type. The extension cord must be for a load of 16 amps. Forget about any power strips.

Electrolux authorized service replaced the cable for 215 zl - well, I think I overpaid a little, but on the other hand I have the confidence that I took care of the matter as it should be.

Thanks to everyone for the replies.
