    Hello.
I need to replace the drain hose in the BOSH WLX2048KPL washing machine.
So far I had two hoses connected using a piece of copper pipe, self-amalgamating tape and metal clamps.
So far!. Today, water leaked from the washing machine, (probably) because it was very warm for two days and the hoses slipped off the tube.

My question is: is it possible to install a longer drain hose to this model? The washing machine is already 1.5 months out of warranty, so I can interfere with it.

I would like to ask for quick answers, because the problem is quite urgent.
An angry woman is the worst thing. :bad-words:

I would like to thank my colleagues in advance for their understanding and quick responses.

If so far the washing machine has been pumping out water using a manufactured hose, i.e. a longer one, why wouldn`t it want (could) work with a longer, factory-made hose?

It will definitely work on a longer (one-piece)
My question is the following. Is it possible to dismantle the short hose in the washing machine and install a longer one?
Isn`t the original hose permanently installed?

All hoses are replaceable, as there is always a possibility of damage.

Because they were probably too tight. Two such clamps on hoses mounted on a metal pipe and they cannot come apart.

They slipped off because there was self-amalgamating tape that melted.

In that case, I need to get a "French star" and unscrew the washing machine.

Buddy, why do you want to disassemble the pump, you can`t reach it from the back or from the top, only from the bottom, you have to turn the washing machine on its side - don`t try anything, just give us 2 metal bands and the problem will be solved - otherwise you will accidentally flood the module with the leftover water from the drawer. powder or something else will happen to you, cheers

Is the "French star" some kind of confectionery decoration?
It`s better to leave your guts alone, put them on bandages as advised above and you`ll be fine.

Get a Torx 20 key, unscrew the front wall and the top of the washing machine, you will have great access to the pump and the hose that comes out of the housing at the height of half the washing machine.
Under no circumstances should you turn the washing machine on its side.

The pump is at the very bottom, next to the filter, so I can only access it from the bottom. (it is necessary to place the washing machine on its side)
And the hose comes out of the housing in the upper left corner.

    I know that very well.

I wrote, do not turn the washing machine on its side (if you do not want to damage the washing machine ;) )
Maybe I didn`t express myself clearly enough in the previous post:?
If you do not want to dismantle the front wall (it can be removed) or you are afraid, tilt the washing machine slightly on its back and you should also have access to the pump from the bottom. Take a photo of the top cover so you have access to the hose to remove it from the housing.

Ok, thanks for the valuable advice. I`ll keep her in mind.
I prefer not to remove the front wall because I don`t know if I can put on the drum rubber.

Hello, of course I didn`t mean literally tipping the washing machine over, but gently laying it on its side on something soft so as not to scratch the sheet metal, be sure to drain all the water from the filter first by tilting the washing machine forward and with the drain hose up, so as to empty the washing machine of water as thoroughly as possible, also pull out the powder drawer, or put the washing machine on its side on the drawer side, the longer the hose, the greater the resistance to the pump and the greater the risk of clogging the system, you need to check the filter more often, best regards

Yes, I realize that a longer hose means a greater load on the pump, but so far it has worked without problems with a 4-meter - 2-piece hose, and I want to replace it with a 4-meter - 1-piece hose.
The pump (I think) must have some reserve in terms of hose length.

Thank you all for your replies, now I can get back to work. :spoko:

Instead of a pipe and metal clamps, you can use a connector of the type used to connect garden hoses (for watering)

I tried, but the drain hoses have too large a diameter compared to garden hoses and the connection was leaky.

you need to try on a 3/4 inch hose

I tried to install just such a connector
