    Hello,

I have a JVC lt50cf890 which is currently stuck in a loop trying to load, I've attempted the factory reset etc but no joy. Apparently this was caused by an update.

    It uses a 17MB170 mainboard.

Any options to either update the firmware via the bootloader? I'm struggling to find the files, JVC have nothing. Amazon, useless.

Or can I replace the board with a working one?

    Thanks in advance.
AI: Can you describe the specific behavior or error messages you see when the TV is stuck in the boot loop?
Loads to FireTV logo, and resets.
AI: Have you attempted any other troubleshooting steps or firmware updates besides the factory reset? If so, what were they?
Do not have any firmware files to try

I've replaced the board with a working 17MB170 board, but now it's stuck in a boot loop and the screen is duplicated. Attached pic.

The donor TV, a JVC LT-50CF890(B) - and the TV I need to repair LT-50CF890(A)

So I'm assuming the firmware is incorrect? I'm guessing I don't need to change the power board as well??

    Any help appreciated.

For the replacement of Vestel plates > the so-called BARcode (8-digit) is important.
    - used to be a sticker, now QR code
    - tells you the matrix type and software

    Not the description of 17MB170
    - is a description of the chassis, pcb (bare board) which changes its "purpose" after adding RC, circuits and jumpers ..and FW (firmware)

Power supplies for models, under matrixes (their lighting) are described similarly

Probably in both models different matrices
    - please write which one in (A) and which one in (B)

Do you have a picture of the motherboard ? If you can, take a detailed picture of the processor side

This is the same subject Link
    - you can see the barcode on the power supply and main boards

Or look at the board descriptions / different matrixes Link_ LT-50CF890 main
