Hi. I have a MAN TGM where the air suspension has stopped working. No fault codes. Just a red light on the dashboard. The remote control does not light up. Any ideas?

Check the remote control for a damaged cable

    Check the fuses?

The question is what was done before the fault? Coincidentally not fired from a start-up?

    .

This is the key question - if so then probably ECAS controller fried.

And I don't. People have different things and activities. Take it easy.

Topic summary

A MAN TGM truck's air suspension system has become inactive, indicated by a red dashboard warning light, with no fault codes detected and a non-responsive remote control that fails to illuminate. Suggested diagnostic steps include inspecting the remote control for damaged cables, verifying proper calibration of the system, and checking relevant fuses. A critical consideration is whether the fault occurred immediately after startup, which may indicate a failure of the ECAS (Electronically Controlled Air Suspension) controller. The discussion highlights the importance of these components and troubleshooting steps in resolving air suspension malfunctions without diagnostic codes.
