Asked and answered: What does the ‘H’ in HSPICE stand for?

We all know that SPICE stands for Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis and it came out of the UC Berkeley group, in partcular from Larry Nagel. But there were a lot of commercial spin-offs, all with spicy names like PSPICE, IsSPICE, and HSPICE. The 'H' in HSPICE stood for the first letter of the family name of the twins Shawn and Kim Hailey.
