build a short distance radio system

I'm charged to build a radio transmitter that it will be user a long with N receivers in a zone of 100 m let's say a conference room. Is that possible?

Hi, Yes it is possible. There are many technologies suitable to a range of 100m but before choosing a technology you first need to define what you want the system to do (your use case). High level requirements will flow from the use case and include characterisitics such as, how much data needs to be transfered, how often, to how many (what basis eg one-to-one or one-to-many), how long do batteries need to last, how small do the items need to be. The mix of characteristics can then be aligned to the technologies available. Hope that gives you something to start on.

If You do not need any secure transmission You can simply use a 433MHz modules.
And some devices ....
And it can be done an audio transmitter (maybenot HQ audio but still)

well the system is composed from one transmitter and let's say N receivers and the receivers will be for no cost and therefore I prefer using radio over bluetooth or any other technology. The transmitter will transmit some audio in fact the hole system will operate as a language translator for the audience the transmitted words come from another device witch is already done.

my company used Bluetooth for a similar application, see http://www.zdnet.com.au/museum-audio-tour-streams-mp3-over-bluetooth-120281843.htm however in our case the audio was pre-recorded and streamed real time based upon language preference selected at registration

We discussed the Bluetooth alternative my friends and I however in that case we still to spend more money on developing or purchasing new Bluetooth receivers which could be as considerable additional cost
