I have a boxing havybag that I want to be more advances . I want it to tell me the amount of force that put in to it what type of equipment or device do I need to do so.

This sounds like a super fun project!

You might consider embedding an accelerometer chip inside the bag. The data captured from this could tell you all sorts of information about your punch.

In terms of the electronics diving the system, what's your goal? You could use a laptop to capture the data, or create a completely stand-alone system using a microcontroller.

When considering the accelerometer chip how do I instal it and how do I instal the program on a laptop. What is astand-alone system, accelerometer chip, microcontroller.
