I want to step up 220 volts AC into 350 volts AC without using a transformer.power of the circuit should be 450watt.
i know somewhat about voltage multiplier and boost convertor but don't know how to design them please help me out..
and is there any other way to step up AC voltage without transformer?/

If galvanic isolation is not needed an autotransformer really is the simplest way to solve this.

Hmmm - all of this to save a few kg of iron.

Is weight really that important to this design?

Because in almost every other aspect (cost, bulk, efficiency, regulation, etc) - the 'complex' solution will be worse.

Couple of way to do the conversion:

1) power transformer (simplest)
2) AC-DC-AC (complicated) (diode bridge - filter - DC cap - switching device - power inductor - output filter - appropriate control circuitry) and lots of topology choices.
3) 220Vac motor coupled to 350 (or higher) Vac generator then voltage divider to give desired output.

There are probably other methods.

Be aware that the voltages you are dealing with are very dangerous.
